first grow,problems with temp or to much water or led to low or.....?!!!

My first grow (only on second now!) I had an LED. I think I had it too close and this possibly made my plants very short and dense. I think I had the light at around 18 inches away. I think I also over watered them though and cold wet roots wouldn't have helped them at all the poor things.

My second grow I have kept the light (now cobs) quite a bit higher to start them off in veg. My light is approx 18 inches from the two bigger older girls in my tent, which puts it around 36 inches from seedlings to start off. This seemed to work well for the first two in my second grow which are now much taller and more "airy" / spread out than my first lot.

I would try raising the light a bit mate although I think I just read that you already have

put lights like Heavily Medicated said and today is 7th day that i didnt water them so i see progress now,problem was big pot,couse when i checked it was dry on 1-2inces but down below was probably wet.todays pics ,they look better i think

Yeah they look better to me mate.

I used large fabric pots on my first try and didn't get on with them at all. I am much happier trying air pots this time. Good luck buddy.

i know they arent the best, but now its to late,ill try them next time..
put some holes in pots on down side and stones inside before soil so roots can breathe.

Everything looks good on your girls. Temp swing is in good range when dark temp is down to about 15 F lower than light on temp.

i should start with nutes tomorrow and cal-mag,can i combine them or one watering with nutes,next with cal mag?

You can mix them together. Put the Ca/Mg in first, then add the base nutes.

How are they doing mate?

I was reading something about wet/dry soil for roots. The theory I am going for is that if the soil is fairly dry the roots will grow out looking for moisture, whereas if the soil is saturated there is no need for the roots to 'expand'. So I am giving mine a small amount of water every day to try to promote this. The amount they drink has gone up steadily each day and they have vegged really well so I think I will stick to this method for a while.

blodie hell,we are like two brothers from diferent mothers done the same yestarday,since is mine 2 week i started with nutes,about 3/4 of streinght and give them only 2 dl last night,toped them and this morrning they look happy,,,still short even my led is about 26'
