small misshap with the lighting, the jems daylight lamp fell out of place slightly(dont worry its fully clamped and no danger to the plants at all) the securing i had the lamp in its possition came lose so light was having no effect at all besides making heat wich i dont need being summer in QLD, not sure what time it happened or how much light was lost to the gems, I do believe that if my LEDS pannel's claimed abilitys are close to reality then that should be enough for my babies on its own, but i added the cfl's for extra support as it is my understanding you can never have to much light as long as you control the heat?
The Jem popped last and so far has always been smaller than the devil and dispite the lighting incident it does not apear to have lost any ground in growth compared to the devil, they both grew alot of hight today, both are now easily an inch high, the leaves on both also grew (can I assume both are getting the required light?)
I am stoked so far how this is going at this early stage, it seems to be progressing faster than I had expected so thats a plus, the devils progression really has me very excited but also very happy with the Jems,
Will head out nute shopping this Thursday, I am still planning on not introducing any nutes until flowering but will also pick up a veg nute just incase the plant indicates it wants more nutes
any recomendations on nutes? my brother recomended Monsta bud, and the info i found on it sounds great to me, anyone used or would recomend?

Stormy , Yes I also have used monsta bud with good results. I get my nutes from Sydney they are designed to be used for Sydney water, adjusted to the ph of tap water. The nutes I use are called podron, but there are many available online and at your local nursery, or hardware that will have in them everything you need.

I got my seeds from bonzaseeds, also got a bubblicious, have heard they have some auto flowering issues so have decided to grow that on its own incase I need to switch to 12/12to induce flowering

well they have some fine looking and chunky buds for small plants, that is my goal
