New Grower First grow Speed devil auto and purple jems auto

End of day 3 my babys are looking healthy, dont think they gained much height if any today but leaves have most definately gained lenght and width, The devil is still bigger and the seem to be growing at the same pace, the jems stem is slightly thicker than the devils.
I can see the begining of new leaves sprouting on both with the devil's slighly more developed(unfortunately camera just couldnt pick these up)

the soil is still moist so am yet to water after germinating with saturated soil, and i doubt I will need to water for another 3-4 days.
but on the subject of watering, would love some suggestions on best watering methods and techniques????

also, my soils ph is 7.0, is this the best level for weed in soil? I have read a few contradicting opinions on ph level

My camera is struggling to focus on my tiny babys, especially with multiple light sourses

also have 4 cfls going in grow box, they do seem to be happy with the lighting

Looking like they are moving along!

Try use your phone camera and set the mode to Macro shot and click screen to focus on the new growth in leaves, we can still see some fresh green growth. Works well for even my galaxys' 4mp camera. Just shakey ass hands mess with my focus! Too much/little light can also effect quality.

pics with my phone are not much better lol, odd thing is my camera is of a very high resolution, its just not focusing on the plant, will play with the settings but im sure once they are bigger it will be easier to focus on them

Yeah definetly, more to get a focus on and more definition to capture:check: Good luck with playing about on phone, JUST remember what you had your settings at before going in and scrambling:cough:

like BOMB .....LOL ...imop bro they say soil should be 6.5-6.7 I'm at about 6.6 on this run and they loving it alot more ....try and get her down to around 6.5 -6.7 if ya can bro anything higher will cause some nite lockouts ...

what i originally read said 7ph was the best so i made my soil a 7, dont think i will have any worries lowering it slightly, though will have to wait until my babies require watering and i think im still a few days from that

The bone meal and blood meals should help ...its known to lower ph ...
I haven't figured the whole Big Ph picture out but I'm getting closer ....and she should drop a little when transitioning to flower ...thats why ik trying to hold 6.7 and hopefully sue will drop later into 6.5 or tiny bit lower ..

Added another light today, a 48w warm white, so that 5 cfl's in total now, ide like to up the wattage on the 2 day cfl's but heat would be a real issue. having a hot summer in Australia this year, My main grows will be in autum and winter, where with the extra wattage of cfl's and QLD winter temps it should be perfect, lower humidity too
Its kind of weird, when the cfl's are off and the led is on, the entire box blows a bright pinky-purple, but with the cfl's the visibility of the leds rays just vanishes
I'll grab a pic of my babys under Only the LED later as my babies finish their day with 15 min of just LED
