New Grower First grow/T5 Ho/ NL, WW, NYC, PR

Hey everyone! welcome to my first grow!

For my first grow i've chosen to invest a bit of money and buy a 2 x 4 x 6 tent, with a 4" fan and carbon filter. For my lighting i've chosen to go with a 4' 8 bulb t5 high output fixture. For my soil i was really unsure of what to use, i searched and searched but could only find MG soils, until i came across fafard connaisseur soil, which is what i chose to use with a mixture of perlite and worm castings.

I planted 2 White widow, 1 Norther Lights and 1 New york city on the 17th (all of which have popped up and are doing very well [so i believe])

I apologize for them being a bit blurry, my camera was having a hard time focusing on them them. Northern lights 2 and Pakistan Ryder germinated late, and im still waiting for them to break soil. Soil also looks dry in the photo as its watering day! i'll be using a spray bottle to ensure i don't hurt my babies.


What do you guys think? how do they look? Any questions or comments?

Her they look fine.if you find that our seedling falls over as its so small,I usually cut a straw in half and put around seem for surport

It time again for another update! I'm getting so excited as my girls are growing so fast, i can hardly believe my eyes. The Pakistan Ryder never broke soil, so i pulled that one and am now left with White Widow x 2, Norther lights x 2 and one New york City. These guys all broke soil on the the 19th(except nl2, which was a could days behind), so they are 9 days old today =)

I'm so excited to see how these ladies turn out! i've had concerns with White Widow 1, as she doesn't seem to be able to get rid of the yellowing on her leaves. I created a post however was informed that its not uncommon for new leaves to be on the yellow side. However none of the other ones exhibited this, and the yellowing has not gone away. I'm hoping it was a ph problem, as i was waiting for my ph pen to arrive (its now here) so from here on out they will be receiving ph balanced water, hopefully this will help to restore he colour.

Is their height at this point normal? Should i raise the light a little bit to let them stretch a little bit?(currently have my fixture approx 3 inches away) or are they good for this point in their life with florescent? are they looking healthy and happy?

raise the light a little and they should stretch a bit to reach them :smoke: theyre looking super good!!
