New Grower First grow

Instead of replacing your fan, filter, ducting, while downgrading to a 4", you should pick up a fan speed controller fo $15 tops. It will allow you to adjust the fan speed which is good for two reasons. Regulating temperatures as the season change, as well as being able to keep the sound level down (if stealth is any concern). A dimmed 6" is super quiet,

Good luck

great idea skatter...speed controller ordered! as well as cal-mag that namvet suggested! ready to go next week

Once they are planted, sprinkle some.water ontop of them so they are sufficiently moist, and then leave them the fuck alone haha. Don't root around to check on them, or move soil out o the way to help them. Don't try to dislodge a seed casing from its leaves. Just leave them alone for a little while and let them do their thing

thanks guys!!! ive been doing alot of searching on the ff ocean forest and it seems good to go for autos...no nutes needed until flower...any contesters? much appreciated

Have personally had a very bad experience with time-release nutrient soil on autoflowers. Have also heard horror stories with FFOF soil and time-release soil burning plants. That's not to say everyone's had a bad experience, some have had good. It's a no go from me. Let's see what others say. Karma your way dude. GL with your first grow, have any strains in mind?

:bong:

Perhaps this technology of time release will work in the future. But the sure way to grow is with constant attention.

Thanks for the strong possitive vibes everyone! *salute. What should the light situation be like for germinating? Is mh okay?

MH is fine, that's what I tend to start under. Just keep an eye on the temperatures. I keep my air cooled light about 18"-24" away in the beginning

Hey!
Just checking in, sounds like everything is under control. Lots of good advice from experienced folks. The hardest thing to do is to leave them alone, trust me, I am an expert in this!!! Just spray them to keep them moist (not wet or soaked) and be patient (the hard part)
Peace and happy growing! Positive vibe beaming your way!!!

beans dropped in soil..germination engage! 1 white widow 1 diesel berry 1 kritical cheese!
