Are you concerned that 29 is too high mate? I am definitely not a fan of dimming. Less light to the plants is not good in my book but just my opinion. I just don't get along with under using what cobs you have. May as well use the lot or get a smaller system.

I would favour training / supercropping rather than dimming if its height issues, and if its about heat I would try something else first. Like better circulation around the tent. You can make a massive difference to temp by air movement inside. I could adjust my temps by about 4 or 5 degrees just by moving the direction of fans.

@hippy71 As we have discussed before, I am not in favor of dimming the lights but I am looking for a way to control temps in my situation. I don't really think 29 is too hot but I haven't been able to make changes to influence the temps up or down other than dimming the light. I'm trying to find control points that I can pack into my tool box that I can call on with confidence. Hope that makes sense. Very small, .60m x .75m x 1.5m (2'x2.5'x5') running exhaust fan/filter, 2 small fans inside, portable humidifier, was running an intake fan but have quit because it seems to prevent the filter from operating properly.

with height resection of 150cm dimming will solve all your problems (I have 160cm headroom), yes you can have way too much light with cobs, the plants can only take so much. Dimming does not reduce spectrum in cobs (like it does with hps), just intensity on the out put. More light does not mean better plants especial in smaller space's like we are using. Plant can only use so much light with out help of things like use of CO2. Like I've said I turn mine down to about 60-75% and I'm pulling 4-5 oz a plant of super tight nugs... last run was at 65% for most of flowering... If you can keep that 21" (1400ma) or 16" (1050ma) from your plant tops then you may never need to dim, but if your plants grow passed that magic line (they will in that tent) then you need to dim, they will thank you for it.
Also your mini humidifier will be doing more damage than good in that small space... all its doing is just adding more heat in, I got rid of mine. Found it made no difference in a such a small space... as long as you not running into the 80%rh you should be all good. I only worry about RH when they are seedling.
Your better off sorting you air exchange than a dehumidifier in that tent size.
What make of fans are running ? ... your intake has to be smaller that your out take fan or turned right down to keep the negative pressure.

Different opinions for different people, rather than facts though. There are some major players in the canna business on here that would avoid dimming if at all possible, so horses for courses I think.

By cropping instead of dimming you are maximising your light source and bud development/distribution of plant energy. By dimming you are reducing the amount of light. You are not in the realms of "way too much light" with 200w of cobs, so I believe in this case more light does indeed mean better plants. With 200w of cobs I don't think we are anywhere near needing supplemental CO2 or anything like that!

Forgot to ask where is your tent in you house..bedroom, loft... ?

Tent is inside a walk-in closet that has an air conditioning vent in the ceiling. Exhaust from tent is just circulated back into closet, nothing else can be done with that which I know is the real source of the issue. Currently exhaust fan is some generic, iPower, with filter running through a controller so I can control speed, it is 190 cfm, but next time I am changing to Can Fan and Phresh filter, they are sitting, waiting to be installed. The intake was a smaller fan but no speed control, just two speeds, low and high, I quit using it. I am going to try and reposition the tent to get better circulation.

Is the closet up stairs ?... could you drill a hole in the ceiling and and extract into the attic. All your problems seemed to be connected to the fact your extracting and drawing air from the same space. Sort that and every thing should come in line, Your tent should then only be a few C higher than the ambient temps out side the tent.

Yes, it is only a few degrees higher in the tent, closet is downstairs so I can't vent the exhaust which I know is the biggest issue.
