Congrats on getting it stabilized.
As well, nice score on the hydroton.
Just be sure to either boil it or soak in light bleach solution. (kill off any nasties)
Check Walmart or a pet store for the pumps and airstones.
These places can sometimes be cheaper for the same product sold at hydro stores.

Thx ronin ph is much better today maybe the girls will be happy I have the pebbles in a light bleach soak now I can get a pump fairly cheap at Walmart or petsmart. Thx for checking in on me

Thx ksj my ph still climbs but the rate of climb has slowed some. I have eliminated all light from hitting water. So ism thinking some of my media is not stable. I also have to remember that the cotton media retains water so I never get it all adjusted part stays in the media only to get flushed next time pump runs thus raising over all ph of res. so this morning I am going to adjust run the pump the adjust again and see if that helps.
Yes ksj the plants are looking better i have one that is doing really good a midget in height but very bushy and lots of bud sites. The one plant grows like I have never seen makes me hopeful for the next run which will be photos thx again for checking in on me.

If your going in the photo direction, you could harvest every 4-5 weeks with your setup. Making clones.. And working with the same genes from a mother plant, will work wonders with your setup and a controller.
try google "aerocloner" easy way to make clones..and easy to DIY.

A little update changed my reses yesterday this is what I have in there for this week
I mix ten gallons at a time for two reasons it takes two gallons per bucket and I have five left and the math is easy to do for ten gallons.
56 ml flora micro
75 ml flora grow
19 ml flora bloom
10 ml black label root enhance
30 ml botanicare cal mag
Ph this to 5.8
This puts my ppm at 825.
I put some hydrogen peroxide in my buckets and turned pump on let run an hour before I emptied and cleaned and refilled them.
My ph still climbs but has slowed some. I have a new plan on adjusting it the cotton media I have in there holds lots of water so to combat the retained water upping my ph I am going to adjust res then run my pump to mix things up then adjust again. Hopefully this will get me closer to getting all the nutrient at the right ph.

Help emergency!!! I just went to check ph and just a general check on things as I was checking the hairs on my girls I noticed something crawling in the hydroton topping my buckets didn't get a real good look at it but it was small and white then it disappeared into the media. I don't know what it is or how many there are if they are in all my buckets or what. I do know they got to go!!! How do I kill little critters without killing plants??? If it was soil I would use h2o2 and water mixed and water them with that and see if it works. I don't know what to do for hydro. Help please!! I Am going to research this

Relax.

Get some yellow sticky traps or fly tape around the base of your plants. You should get a few, find out what they are and treat.

Thanks hank I'll try to relax I just don't want anything to happen to my girls. I know it's not fungus gnats, so I will put some sticky traps down and see if I catch anything.
