Grow Mediums First hydro grow seven white widow one fruit auto

Not a dwc guy just yet but cant you just use lava rocks or even fish aquarium rocks ??

Good thought spellbound I don't know what I can use but I may have to go to soil really makes me angry the store shut their doors with lots of things still owed to me I don't have all my nutes plus more I am screwed trust no one

What a bummer dude. There are lots of things you can use instead of hydroton tho. Just as long as there neutral and dont compact to much so the roots can grow threw them. But with-out your nutes your screwed i would imagine. Best of luck which ever route you take.

A little help from the karma gods

:stylez rasta smoke:Well I thought I was done as my hydro store went out of business placed an ad to sell my plants got an answer talked with guy a long time ended up getting almost all I need to get started on trade so here wego. Spent the day rinsing media and test running lights and mover and pumps all is good mixed up some very light nutes and put my babies in today. Was not able to get parts to make the system tied together and recirculate so got 8 individual pots going more testing and etc for me but I'm happy to be going.
:peace:

Thx spellbound all is well today I see growth in less than 24 hours with a really light dose of nutes

Question please

Question please I put them in buckets and on light nutes three days ago but they are not growing like my photos I started in soil the same day. Can I give them a little more I mixed really light:peace:

Bummer

Ok so I think I screwed it all up by not giving enough nutrient my ww is not growing any where close to the last batch of ww. I have bumped them up a lot didn't burn anything hopefully they will take off. I am afraid I have stunted them. So much for less is more you have to give them something.

From what Ive been researching and studying, there are lots of factors that slow growth in dwc that makes it a big learning curve as appose to other methods of growing. Kills me to see so many doing it and make it look so simple with great success. But all in all your keeping them alive and that's a positive step in the rite direction. Getting your ppms, ph, and res temps lined out and Im sure you'll be killing it. R.E.O. said it best - keep pushing on. :smokebuds:

:peace:thx spell bound for your positivity they are alive since bumping up ther nutrient they are a little better in color but way behind. The Dwc is not soil for sure!"What is optimum water temp? My room stays between 70-75f water is a little colder around 68. I also changed their lighting by moving my photos under their own 400 watt mh, allowing me to shorten up the track run length to get more light on them. I hope all this helps. :stylez rasta smoke:
