Thanks a lot A4, that means a lot. It's a hard row to hoe with Organics when there are as many ways to do it as there are people doing it, it's one of those areas I guess where there is no substitute for first hand experience. Still, it's good to have guys like you and EoF, and so many others around, to guide me as well as give me reason to stay on the path.

Hey medi man!! Yeah buddy as trap mentioned a cpl new grows back to back with above average results

But i thought id address actual organics.I see a lot of ppl doing this n that and its organic in the marketing world certainly,but if you were to ask an oldschool growers (example EMERALD CUP) and all natural and organic growers.you would get a simple answer.a working TLO recipe,Soil,water and decent recipes for AACT's.that simple.has to be soil.has to be a proven organic method not from a bottle.that stuff is for teas n boosts..period..... you cant even get into the emerald cup as a grower unless you meet very specific requirements as they set forth via the oldschool network.which i totally agree with.well over half the grows i see here are NOT truly organic.your is

oh and the recipe you chose was a good recipe,but it lacks and thats why I never chose subs recipe.even as a template ive heard a lot of wishy washy things about that soil ballance and I went with the revs mix.imo its a far superior soil mixture,and with a few small additions here n there,its really a damned fine mix bro!!I forget your water isse(s) of the top of my head bro,but as your well aware of if ya got chlorine,leave it out bubbled for 12-24 hours boom.chlorimines are different but if ya dont have them you can use your standard water.Or pull it from a river and bubble it with a lot of smaller bubbles typically not more than a week.you can go longer sure.but instead of buying water try that.Ived not PH or run systems to clean my water at all.right from the tap.i do have well water,and i cant recall if you do or not.But dude, you frigin ROCKED the shit outta your grow.brand new grower takes on organics..Respect bro noone NOONE says different.id be a proud mofo to get buds like that first time out of the gate brother.anyone says different you tell em to come pay me a visit n ill drop em like a hot habit bro!!Damn fine work!!

Nice buds! Yep, first time with organics can be tricky, but once you get it right, its a good way to grow. I love DWC, but I do organic soil also.

Thanks man! I'll get there, and even though I limped this Think Different across the finish line looking like a Charlie Brown tree the buds themselves look and smell incredible.

Happy we got another convert hahaa no really tho, as someone who recently went through the crash course in organics (with guidance from Eyes on Fire and others) I can comment that the hardest part of organics is just getting all the crap together and figuring out what/how to do with it initially. After that, the plants pretty much just grow themselves, with little input compared to chasing the chemical monsters haha Best of luck and grow karma your way!

Honestly the biggest draw for me was the idea that I could stop worrying about pH all the time, lol!! That and the successes I'd seen here as well as a video I watched of some Master Kush that had been grown organic, it was an easy sell. The first 3 plants have been tedious, but I'm hoping once I start recycling my soil I'll have a much better time of it.

The water thing is that I switched to distilled when my local RO machine broke down for several weeks, and within a week I started to see lockout issues from what were perfect plants. It took me a while to figure that was the only thing that had changed, and then the RO unit was fixed, but not before ravaging the foliage on the two Think Differents. I ended up testing several gallons of the brand I had bought and found out they were all below a pH of 6, so it wasn't too surprising why I was having issues. I unfortunately don't have access to well water, I get municipal water which is sourced from springs as well as a large river, and in some of the systems they treat with chlorine though they don't say exactly which so short of testing my water(which tastes bad enough that we drink bottled) I don't really know what's in it from the report. That's why I just buy RO 5 gallons at a time, it's a pain, but they test it monthly and it always tests under 10 ppm so I call it good.

well me personally ,Id try to use your tap water after getting rid of the chlorine man.seriously! evedn if it fails you can wash your soil or just bin that pot after rinsing it with a gallon or so of fresh DS water or ro whatever,and returning it to the bin checking the moisture ofcourse.but with the chlorine gone and if they are on the level and you have only chlorine.I personally would feed small bit of RO or bottled water for the first week er even two but after that mix it 50/50 then over the course of a week er even two slowly increase the levels of tap water with stuff removed ofcourse.Im betting short of another issue your unaware of that is in your water you'll be juuust fine man.well Im sppeaking of my mix but they are all buffering soils and some better than others sure,but I still think its worth a shot bro.

Got to say tackling tlo as you have is inspiring. I've read the revs book cover to cover so many times now, as well as reading everything else I could find. I'm not anywhere near ready to take the plunge. I want to get a couple more grows in using organic bottled stuff before I look seriously at tlo

One of my big problems is that I'm not doing teas enough, nor do I think I'm really doing them the best I could. I find them intimidating for some reasons but this weekend I'm going to crack your profile open and start learning.

Thanks a lot Gman. The biggest issue was just all the ingredients I had to get. Once this soil is gone(recycled) I'm going to start moving toward a more Rev friendly mix. You're the only one who knows when you're ready, but I think you kinda have to decide to jump in the deep end and try to swim.

With eyes & A4s help I'll be ready to try it sooner than I thought!

With an ro unit you can but different adapters. One might screw into an outside tap fitting, or onto a shower hose. I think I mentioned it before, but if you pay for your water over there for every litre of good water, you'll chuck 5 litres of bad down the drain.

how big a tea you wanting to brew man??ill trow up a cpl recipes that you can use at full strength and/or a 1:1 dilution with cal mag n big bloom or whatever have ya.pulp some catings n things.just lemme know whatcha wannt do man..the first ones you'll run into are concentrated tea brews.much hotter too.a 1:5 dilution minimum imo.
