First organic grow - blue automazar // afghan kush ryder

I don't get on the forum using the computer much, so here's some :slap:

The Never-ending Grow! Think that's something that will resonate with most growers. I'm trying to stagger 2 grows a month apart which should work out about right for me.

Yeah I don't know why I didn't start out with that system but it makes the most sense now, especially since my intake has grown in proportion to my supply. Have you noticed that as well?

The only reason i grow autos is because i can use one room/closet stagger lots of different strains and chop 1 a month. I'm never gonna get a HUGE harvest but I don't care. I just want the best free bud for me and a few friends.

Medi you will be so happy about your friends think different choice. I have one at 33 days under 1000 watts and its looking unreal!

Thanks man, I think so too, I have had my eye on it for a while and seeing how Bandit's has turned out I'm looking forward to growing the other two beans out for myself!! I got a free Cheese Candy Auto bean from Delicious Seeds and I'm excited to grow that out also, I think you have the right idea with getting variety in the grow room as I'm finding myself wishing I had some variety.

Thanks bro!

Duuuuuuude!!!! That Cheese Candy..OMG. Im definitely buying some beans sooner then I planned. I dont want to miss that freebie. Delicious seeds are a little pricey upfront. Looks worth it though. An excuse to order some vision seeds lol.

Hey, just thought of something. Have your grown the BAM before? If so, how tall did yours get? What size Pot did you use?

My intake has increased, probably doubled if I'm honest! For me multi strains has to be a must. I've built up a tolerance to the Roadrunner now. Smoked some bad bag weed the other day and found it stronger!

You'll want to get your beans from Herbie's Autoflower site then that's where I got the freebie. I have not grown BAM before, but it's in a 5 gallon fabric Geopot, why do you ask?

I had some leftover from before harvest that did the same for me, I found it really heady and it made me wish I had something other than the NL hanging around. That said I'm thankful that I've got a non heady strain as well for when I need to be present.

Oh, I was just wondering how tall it got on you. Since Im definitely interested in growing it.:Sharing One:

Me too! Trying to figure out what my next bean purchase will be, and BAM is definitely being strongly considered!

It's not even quite a month old yet so too early to tell but I will say compared to the AKR it's a giant so far, I'd say double the height, but those numbers may flip flop for all I know. From what I've seen in other people's grows the BAM gets up there in height, maybe waist high on the average dude. Sorry I couldn't be more help Neko, I'll have better info in about 6 or 7 weeks though ;-) :Sharing One:

Week 4

Light: 80cm
Temps: 25-26C
RH: 40-50%
Heights: BAM- 21cm AKR-15cm

Since the last update I have watered every time with CAMG+ at 10 drops per gallon as per The Rev's recommendation to keep the ladies happy. Yesterday I decided to take some leaves as the girls were starting to get out of control and the shadows on all the new growth were slowing down development. I pulled 4 from each and as you'll see in the pictures they are getting much more light and looking no worse for the wear. The AKR took it harder than the BAM did and I could tell she was experiencing some shock, but this morning she's perked up quite a bit and the next few days she should start bouncing back and growing up and out. I'm not sure if it's the seed, or the strain but the AKR is developing much smaller than the BAM as though it has dwarf leanings, which I'm guessing would be coming from the Ryder roots. No big deal though, whatever does come of it will be great I'm sure. Going to wrap it up and post the photos. Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

BAM
