New Grower First time Afghan Kush Ryder grow

Hi Everyone Delighted I found these site so much info my head is busting! I have a meter square tenant 600w light carbon fiber filter and all the trimmings’ planted the seeds Sunday in 11L pots using Bio Bizz light mix. My question is how much water do I use at the start. My friend a grower for 20 years said just spray were the seeds are planted with the spray gun once a day. Is this enough or should I dampen the soil more down to the end of the pot?

Hey hurled! Im only on my second grow so hopefully someone more experienced will comment! But i usually spray a couple of times a day until the third day then start giving small ammounts of water about 500ml every other day! Hope this helps and good luck

:High 5:sound advice Lew :smokebuds:did you mean 50ml & not 500ml though ?... sounds a bit much for a 3day baby :

well Im kinda guessing but would think its a lot ,but depends on the pot size & im not to great with soil mate .... I'll wait till someone else answers that one too I think :GoooAuto: Happy to check your though grow mate :smokebuds:

Once the seedling is up and growing it doesn't hurt to water the whole pot,the tap roots on weed grow super fast so you want a moist soil condition through out the pot so the young starter roots have ampel moisture and don;t run into a dry spot.

I fill my pots with soil, water it till i see the first drops of drainage , so the pot has twice
the weight as without water. Wait a bit and put my the seed in a little hole.

Make sure u dont use too much water, the little ones dont like it...:no:

Otherwise i would say just the water gun (dont know how big that thing is )
Is a bit too less
