Hey guys!

I am helping a friend set up his first grow op !! :booya:

He wants the most hands free to start-off, so I thought something along the lines of Biobizz-Light mix or All-Mix. But I don´t know what nute line to suggest.
I may as well ditch my current grow (photo) all together and start again (auto, first time), mine has gone to sh*t so I may as well just start fresh... Anyways, do I have it right that BioBizz is a very well regarded product? Just water almost all the way through? Difference between Light and All-mix?

Anyways, he'll be doing DP Think Different quite possibly, if I tag along I may chose some other strain to complement

Mind giving me some input?

- What pot size do you suggest for auto's? Might suggest him getting airpots.

- Nute line? I have some understanding of NPK + supplements, so a good line is preferable to general 1 part feed.

- Suggestions on a DP auto that is not close to Think Different?

Please feel free to suggest something else entirely!

Thanks amigos!

easiest is some FFOF in some 3 gal smart pots and just water them as needed. Let them go on their own.

If you use ffof, I have read many inputs in threads that say not to start seeds off in ffof. Soil is too hot for little ladies. You will have to start out in something else, like promix or I believe Happy Frog.:bong:

Much luck. I am no expert just thought I would throw a little advice.
lots of good kharma to ya. :smokebuds:

So appart from starting of, do you mean FFOF will be good all the way through without aditional nutes?

correct. People have done it with fine results. Adding nutes would make the final result better of course. Some deficiencies could come up, too. But, you were asking for the easiest way for a first timer..and IMO..that's the way. To stretch out the soil even more, you could have him transplant. I know they say you're not supposed to TP autos because of the fragile roots. But, you can carefully. Start with some ffof in party cups, and then TP into 3 gallon smart pots with FRESH ffof after about 3 weeks(how long the nutes in ffof is known to last). Again though, the easiest way is to start in the 3gals.

Do not use FFOF for seedlings, no ifs, ands or buts. While some strains can tolerate the high amount of worm castings and guano it contains, most won't and you could end up stunting your plants as the soil will over feed them. I would suggest using the Biobizz Light Mix for the whole grow. Many here have gotten fine results with it. Their All Mix, like the FFOF, is a bit too hot for seedlings. If you want to use it, I would suggest starting the seedlings in the Light Mix and transplanting to the All Mix after they sex. For nutrients, the Fox Farms line is a good place to start. Either their Trio or some Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. Also not a bad idea to keep a bottle of cal/mag supplement on hand. Some auto strains often show a cal/mag deficiency during flowering. For pots, 3 gallon is a good size for most autos. The Think Different are capable of getting quite big, so if you have enough room, they might do well in 5 gallon.

If you do choose to use FFOF or All Mix, they have enough nutrients to feed the plants for 3-4 weeks, so additional nutrients will still be needed.
