Hey guys, I am a couple weeks into my first grow today is day 15 for the plants. I am growing them in ProMix HP with GH performance pack nutes. They just got their second feed yesterday at about 1/2 strength. I am using tap water that is about 130ppm I PH to about 6.0. I currently have 4 plants under 1 315W CMH, room is at about 79F and 30% ( a bit low but it is the best I can do, I live in a very dry climate).

The plant having the troubles right now is White Crack, leaves curling upwards and some discoloring.

New growth is looking good for now

Any ideas what the likely cause is? the other 3 are looking good, and I had a quick look under the scope and couldn't see any bugs. This plant is growing a fair bit quicker than the other 3.

Hey bud I'm sure someone smarter than me will be able to help you more than I , but to me it looks like a bit of sun burn? I would try lifting your light a little. I would seek a second opinion but as I only really grow outdoor.

I think the green bandit is on to something how close are and what kind of light. Also what kinda of air flow do you havr.

Thanks for the help, I think you guys might be right that it is heat stress. I don't think it is from the light being too close but I might have let it go a bit to long without water, that mixed with the low humidity here might have made the heat a bit of a problem. That sound plausible to you?

The light is at ~36" right now which shouldn't cause heat stress and I have 2 6" vivosun clip on fans oscillating just above the canopy with two 8" fans on the ground.

.:toke:.. still might have been too much for the younger leaves, seedling want less intense light as is,... let's see how the new sets grow out,... low RH% is not helping either, likely a contributing factor.....

:goauto: Space Brudda! -great to see you about old mate! And thank you for helping here, we need it! Have you talked to Admin about getting back on staff, or are you done with that for now..? :pass:

New growth is looking good, if it is heat stress it seems to be recovering. I won't cheap out next grow and I will buy a t5 for seedling/early veg.

Little bit of kelp extract will help with heat stress together with promoting root growth at this early stage. Try it out if you run into these problems later. All the best.
