First time grower after lots of reading over the years...growing 2 northern lights auto under an LED in fabric pots with bat mix guano.

Despite both the same seed from Royal Queen seeds, one got a lot taller than the other. Now at day 70 of grow since planting the seedling into its final pot.

Royal Queen say 70 days from seed and now I know I've read a lot that says they can go longer I'm unsure whether to harvest yet or leave longer.

The smaller of the 2 has frosty sugar leaves and some Amber trichomes but probably only around 10% (have a small microscope, though difficult to focus) photos are with phone cam.

The taller one has less frosting but that does seem to be starting and mostly clear trichomes. Had stopped any more nutrients about 2 weeks ago but then gave them a little boost on nutrients as seemed to be getting leaves dying.

Any thoughts or advice appreciated...

Now is when I'll start tap flush. I'd say your within 2 to 3 weeks from harvest. Now is when you pack size on your flowers.

Those plants have some maturing to do. As far as nutes, I have used water only the last two weeks and I have nuted right up to harvest and have yet to taste any significant discernible change between the two. It's preference like everything else along with product choices.

Those pictures are not close enough to really tell the trich head color but based on formation them thangs have I would say 3 or 4 weeks to go. Also how much direct light do they get a day?

They are on a 20/4 light cycle in a tent, 24C with 50-55 RH. Can't get a better in focus picture with camera unfortunately. So should I continue with nutrients or flush now?
