alright troops. i'm mcon and i'm new to AFN. ive been lurking in the shadows for quite some time, but now the time has come to rock out my first grow journal.

i'm very much a newb, tried a hollands hope guerilla grow a couple of years back which the fuzz stumbled upon so i had to keep my nut down for a bit. now decided to start up an indoor grow instead with a mix of auto and photo (will be concentrating on the auto for this journal). you all seem like cool and well educated cats so hopefully if i mess anything up you'll be kind enough to help if i cant find a solution.

SETUP

3ft x 2ft x8ft stealth cupboard with external exhaust, and passive intake
250 watt maxibright digi ballast,
250 watt powerplant super veg mh,
250 watt hps dual spec,
systemair rvk 100 + 4 inch cf
2 x 10l air pots

SEEDS

big bhudda automatic
seedmakers automax

MEDIUM

biobizz light mix
biobizz all mix.

NUTES

biobizz fishmix.

i'm already a week and a half into this grow. initially started off with 600 watt mh but the heat was overkill :firedevil: even after making a new 12 inch passive intake and didnt wanna cook the kids so bit the bullet and bought the 250 watt kit, until i can buy a fan assisted intake then the big boys will come back out to play.

anyway any thoughts and opinions are welcomed and hopefully by the end of this i can have a nice clean organic smoke to show for my efforts

these are the girls at 12 days. as you can see they look a bit tired from the high temps of the 600 watt MH, seem much happier under the 250 for the moment. :D

thanks for stopping by calyx kid :howdy: cant wait hopefully i'll put some more pics up over the next week, fingers crossed the early heat hasn't caused any probs. :head:

Nice start... the plants look healthy and happy. :D

I'm not trying to run you off and you are more than welcome to keep your grow log here but, if you are new to indoor growing, you might want the thread moved to the New Growers Forum since there are moderators (Muddy and Jackal), who are dedicated to helping new growers, monitoring the forum.

If you'd like it moved, let me know. If not, welcome. :peace:

Yeah Joe I think a move would be much better, thanks for that. Still trying to navigate my way through the site so apologies if I'm running around like a bull in a China shop. Thanks man

Ok guys so I wake up this morning and the babies seem much happier under the 250 Watt my, temp during peak was 84 degrees, and RH sitting at 50% these stats seem ok? Also noticed a really strong spicey hash like odour, I dunno if smell is something that develops this early but it smells beautiful, don't think I,m gonna fire up the carbon filter just yet as it doesn't seem to be jailbait just now. Also popped a greenhouse seeds big bang as one of my photos didn't wanna play(think the 600 fried her ) so once I got a tail am gonna get her in some seed mix and into the room thanks to all who have stopped by I'll get some more pics up tomoz.

Welcome to AFN. Have moved your thread over to the New Growers forum where we can better lend you a hand if need be.

Looks like you have a pretty good setup. Are you planning on growing both the autos and photos under the same light? If so, you will have to cut your lighting back to 12 on, 12 off for the photo plants to bloom, which will impact your auto yields. Best to grow them separately or once the photos are ready to flower, remove them after 12 hours of light and put them in a completely dark place, then back under the lights the next day.
