hi muddy thanks for helpin me move house lol. thinking of building a dark cab for my photos, although i had wondered about super veggin the photos through the whole auto flowering period using dual spec hps then once autos are harvested trigger flowering in the photos. dunno if thats practical tho or even if it can be done, maybe some research to do on that. i will def build a dark cab though. thanks for your input dude

You may find your photos will get too big if you veg them that long. Most dwarf auto strains take 9-11 weeks to fully mature. Bear in mind that photo strains will double or triple in size once they are switched to 12/12 lighting. If you veg them that long you may end up with some very big photo plants.

Ah gotcha, how about lsting the photos? Think I may be being too ambitious huh lol. Keeping it simple is the name of the game rght? l think the dark cab is the best solution. Thanks again dude for the advice.

few more pics from today, all seems well, bit bothered about the automax, seems to have quite crinkley, leathery leaves. i've read on other posts that people are attributing this to nute burn :firedevil: but ive not used any nutes so wondering if maybe my soil's a tad hot. its just standard biobizz all mix and the others seem fine. i dont know will just have to cross my fingers that all is good.

Noticing some really intense growth now, wont spam with pics but will put some up early next week. Starting yo get exciting, gonna crank up the cf on Monday or Tuesday as I'm really noticing the smell in the cupboard now.

The Bio Bizz All Mix is known to be too hot for some auto seedlings, so it's very possible that is what you are seeing.

Cheers muddy. I'm sure I read that before I had actually filled the bottom two thirds of the pots with all mix and the top third with seed mix in the hope that it may combat this but obviously not. Although I just got home from work and they're all looking great no visible probs so just gonna keep on trucking with it. Thanks for all the advice.

Hi mcon, looks like we both been stung by that ALL mix, a few of the leaves on mine are looking the same as yours but are actually growing well overall. I'm getting to two weeks and was gonna start adding nutes but I'm gonna have to hold off for about another week and just give them water.

Yo buddy, looks like we have mate. I'm gonna hold off til later this week for nutes . Read a thread regarding just using fish mix from start to finish so think I'm gonna try that method. Wanna keep it as simple as possible after reading through many posts on different forums I got the sense that many noobs are overloading their babies with crazy amounts of different nutes, and in the process are causing themselves countless probs, so I wanna keep it as basic as possible and just add nutes as and when required in order to understand my plants most basic needs better. It seems very easy to get carried away and end up wrecking the younglings in the pursuit of greater yields. I'm subbed up to your grow dude so will be keeping a close eye on it for any tips or advice.

How is your temperature? Sometimes that crinkling along the leaf edges can be a sign of the temp being a bit too high.
