New Grower First time grow

Hello. I have two autos. 1) berry bomb auto, 2) critical automatic. I had them in germination for about 2 days and two have broke the shell. The tap root is about 1/4 on each. I have two rockwool cubes soaking in 5.7ph distilled water. How far from the top of the rockwool should i plant the shell part of the seedling?
