New Grower First time grower

Hello,
I am planning on having a 24" by 24"' by 63"' grow tent in my closet. What i really want to do is the SCROG method (seeing my limitations in space). So ultimately the plan is to have 4 square pots with 1 plant in each of them.

The lighting i will be using is a 250 watt hps.

Of course there will be a carbon filter for the exhaust and also an oscillating fan to keep the air moving.

I am going to use the 3 product line of Fox Farm nutes with BioBizz Light mix soil.

The strain i am going to grow is Jock Frost which is usually a tall budding strand. Will the SCROG method work with this type of strand?

Do i have enough light for the space?

I really just need overall feedback from anyone that knows exactly what they are doing.

my buddy grew two auto super lemon haze with a 250 hps in fox farm ocean forest soil, he yielded a little over 200 dry of some dank nugget. although i built my tent, if i were to buy a tent it would be the secret jardin. the reviews seemed awesome. how is the quality of the tent in your opinion?

So would you recommend using some lst methods instead of the SCROG method and only growing two at a time? Or would the SCROG Method give me a higher yeild/time ratio. I have done a lot of researched of the tents, and the jardin is the highest quality tent for my money and the space i have available (which is around 26" by 26" by 66"). The Quality seems to be there from what i have seen in recent reviews and comparisons of other name brand tents.

Daaamn! You talking about a MICRO grow... 2"x2"x4"... :head: J/k... welcome to the neiborhood! We know whatcha ment... 2'x2'x4'... right!

My grow is about the same area if you wanna take a quick peek... in my sig!

Personally I have done alot of research and have came to the conclusion that HPS is too hot for our size grow.. definatley needs to be LED or CFL I think...

Hey I'm growing in a grolab gl40, its 1.5x1.5x3.9ft not meters and i just lst the tall ones. I don't know what kind of yields your looking for but just getting it dialed in (noob) and I'm getting about a oz a month. Oh and welcome. This place rocks.

Yeah as long as you are moving some air... I suppose it wouldn't have time to get too terribly hor in there.. are you going to use a cool tube.. then you def wouldn't have any problems.. I think I am just going to save the scratch and get a small UFO style LED to save on heat output!! Good luck on which ever route you decide to take... How many plants do you grow at a time? and how long does it take for until harvest?

Where do you plan to pipe your exhaust air? if you just plan to pipe it back into the room its in, heat will build if its in a shut off room. What type of ventilation fans were you deciding on?

Here is the golden part of my plan.. My closet has a false bottom that leads to the crawl space of the house. So i plan to using some ducting accompanied with a flange to port the non smelly exhaust straight out of the house.
