Live Stoner Chat First time grower

Welcome my friend to AFN. You seem to be off to a good start, please do keep in touch......eP.

Im going to be fifty in September and I finally got the motivation and courage to start my first grow. So I did the usual research that many individuals do before their first grow. Purchased a Kind K3 L300 LED light, a couple of bar lights, exhaust fan, View attachment 609689 View attachment 609689 temp/humidity gauge, soil and seeds and off I went. Planted White Widow-8 plants and Super Skunk-2 plants.
I built my own grow room under the stairs from upstairs going down. The pics are cannabis plants in the beginning of the 5th week of veg.View attachment 609689 View attachment 609689 View attachment 609689 View attachment 609690 will now post pics. Please tellme your thoughts based on pics. Be critical, but not judgemental. I will appreciate any growers comments.
You've picked the best place possible to share your journey and it looks to me like you're doing wonderful! :slap: Nice job!

LOL. Thank you all for the kind words and sharing of knowledge. Good for you Chester. Hope your growing kind bud. Heres a few outdoors. I live in Portland, OR. I'm a transplant from NYC. Top/bottom Super Skunk and middle White Widow. How can you get Auto's higher and fuller?

Im also super stoned by way of Gorilla Glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] 32% THC. Im stupid. Be back later.

Thank you for the information derek420. Ive been using BioBizz nutes. Great for photoperiod plants, but I havent seen much difference with the Auto's.

bio bizz will get the job done ... taller and denser normally are opposites ... If I were growing outdoors w/ that goal I'd try to use reflectivity to push extra light on the plant ...

Oh. Ok. So Sativa is taller more lanky and Indica is usually shorter and bushier. If this is correct, I appreciate the distinction.
Could you recommend a reflective unit for outdoor growing. Also, what type of reflector would
you use for indoor at 3'x3.5'x6? White flat paint on walls. Kind K3 L300 LED for light.
Thank you for your comment and time and effort.

I don't know what you could use to reflect light outdoors ... indoors I use either Mylar or aluminum foil ...Mylar is a little better but the foil is easier to work with ... plants can have their basic structure reshaped but generally when you make them grow taller they are less bushy and vice versa ... I aim for 3-4' height in the pot and generally yield 4-6 oz per plant ...

Thank you again Chester for taking time and effort to assist my growing concerns. So you average 4-6 oz per plant. I would be most fortunate to obtain those results. Sure would save $, esp., tax $ here in Oregon.
