This is my first time growing and I am not sure if my location is good or not. Its on my own property in a small wooded area. Theres a clear spot in the woods where I used to party but no ones been there in years. It is very shady because of the leaves but I am going to cut branches off and get as much sun on the spots I want my plants as possible. One thing Im worried about is its right next to a corn field and I mean its like less then ten feet away. There is a border of trees between this area and the field and it is hidden pretty good but Im kind of worried about the smell of the plants. Other then being next to the corn field I think its a nice spot. I guess what I want is to just see if any one thinks its a bad idea or if it is a good spot.

Sounds like a good spot to me :D

I wouldn't worry about the corn field, as long as the plants aren't in view from it. I'm guessing the only activity from the corn field is occasional vehicles spraying shit and harvesting the corn. I doubt a driver would notice the smell of a few plants through trees when there's chems and crops flying everywhere :smoke:

Good luck with the grow :peace:

i have a similar situation with corn, it is spraying that i would worry about, i would try and find out which chemicals they are spraying and when, should be found out online, i am a farmer but i dont know much about corn.
dont worry about the smell, they probably wont know what it is, consider herbs too mask the smell, if the plants are in pots then they would catch the eye easier, maybe paint the pots green.
also if your grow area is too concealed there might not be enough air passing through to keep them mold free.
i will be putting plants in a similar place, although a lot further from corn, my attitude towards these plants is presume that you wont get any harvest so you wont be disapointed, keep your best plants in pots so you can look after them
