New Grower First Timer

Don't cull them, just move them out of the way of the plants that are thriving. You can bend them down or tie the branches together (sort of like how christmas trees are shipped). If you cull them at this point you are going to have ph problems as their roots die off in the rez.

Thank you. I had not thought of that problem. You saved me from myself. Coincidentally I just got done tying the bad plants off to the side and bunching them up like a Christmas tree.

I'd say for your next grow start two plants on either end and then just keep training them as flat as possible. That's a huge light that close to the tops. Have you had any bleaching or burning from it?

I was concerned about bleaching early in my grow but I think I was having a deficiency issue not burning. Some of the branches are touching the glass lens on the light and they seem OK. I'll keep you posted and thanks for the advice.

What is the best value, simplest nute system available for hydro?

Thanks for the reply. What are ioncs nutes? I can't find them anywhere.

I use maxi gro and bloom. 30 bucks for both with free shipping off of amazon.

Hi natertots, Do you use anything to supplement the maxi grow and bloom. I'd love to have a simple one part solution for grow and one for bloom. With the Technaflora I am using I am adding six separate ingredients during bloom. I'd prefer to have everything in one package. Thanks!
