New Grower First Timer

Deficiency ?

Hello, It looks like I'm in trouble again. This appears to be similar to the first problem that had I had with my grow. The rust is back. The condition is fairly pronounced on one of the plants. It is the plant that was farthest from my 60W fluorescent bulb. I don't know if the bulbs position makes a difference but I moved it to the side of the tent where the ailing plant is. The buds are really stretched out and look unsubstantial. I am at 100% Magical & Awesome Blossoms, 75% of the rest of Technaflora's Recipe For Success, Bloom nutes . PPM at 920 with tap water. PH is 5.8 Steady temp around 80F. photo 2003.JPGphoto 2005.JPGphoto 2004.JPGphoto 2002.JPG

Hi dude, Thanks for the advice.

Day 46

Not much to report. The plants are getting real close to the light.

Pop Corn

Day 47 I think I have popcorn buds developing. The stems all stretched toward the light and the buds elongated. I am hoping they fill back in. I'll get some pics to post later.photo 2009.jpgIs there a way to rotate images once you've uploaded them?

Day 49 Update

I have to say that although the buds currently look small there are a lot of them. I've read jm's article on drying but is a drying rack useful? If so does anyone have recommendations on a drying rack for the harvest??

I don't think there's much to decide about a drying rack. Some have detachable layers. Some are completely enclosed with netting to reject pests. I bought this one on Amazon because it has 2-layer groups that are detachable. It's also relatively inexpensive for that feature and it's 2' diameter (more drying surface). The only thing I don't like is that the open space between layers narrow, making it difficult to reach in and grab buds. Not as nice as some nets with zippered openings. But, cheaper.

I've only used it only once. I'm in 20-30% RH environment. My stuff dries too quickly. I hang for a day or two, then cut the buds into a Sterlite container for additional drying in a more controlled environment (I can close the lid, burp, etc.).

I used the drying rack one time when I didn't hang long enough and they were too wet for sterlite. I put the buds in 2 racks for a day.

Now that I think about it, I should create a black plastic shroud for the net. That would slow the drying, and be more uniform than the Sterlite plastic box. Also keep it dark. I don't have a closet to hang it in.
