Day 55 photos/ today is day 56- Today we slither back into the sea in a deep haze. On the swim back to my prized ship a gentle creature rises from the deep to offer me a glimpse into it's home before offering a peaceful ride home to my timbers and sail upon it's leathery old back.
I continue to push the deep blue girls as much as they will let me and they are chunking up rapidly. Feeding at 1250 PPM. It is quite a beautiful sight in the sea currently and I find myself starting for sometimes 20-30 minutes upon the girls. I continue to tuck leaves and now am aggressively removing large fans blocking any bud sites. The canopy is full!
Couldn't resist snapping a few photos of the of the quicker main colas (not a frost king), they are looking great but a lot have some serious fattening to do yet. Lots of quarter sized small bud I want to see get much more dense before chop. Last feed was yesterday that should keep them wet 2-3 days then a quick flush and plain ph water for a week is in order.
Looking great pal, don't you worry they still gonna do some swelling yet, that last week or two when they are tapping into the leaves for food seems to be when they really put the chunk on.
