Might be switching on the 3 modules on the MS's? @ day 15 what you think? till now same height @ 65 cm....

Peace!

If I were you I would switch them on right now.

I run my 300W Helios (I have one of this kind) on full power 52 cm above 2 x 22days old and 2 x 8 days old plants, works fine. 378 W one runs at 55cm but on 90% power (no fan version). 288W one runs on 40 cm (no lens what disperses light around). This works fine for me. The strongest light was a little bit lower before, 5 cm, and because of some curling edges of leafes, I had lifted it.

My setup now

I have learned that small differences in distance, make proportionally much bigger differences in the light available for the plants, because if you double the distance, you reduce the power of lighting by 4.
So 5 cm diff. in height (10%) means maybe 30% less intensive light or something like that but I hope you get what I mean.

My 6 plants from sept.20 did not get enough light first week because I was afraid of overburning them. And then at the day 8 I was concerned about plants not growing.

I put my lights on above described distances later and now everything just works fine.

next time I will give them a little bit much more intensive light in the first days also. Seems that helps.

Gonzo, thanks a lot!

I was looking for some info on those LED's, I got 2 x Helios Pro 6 that I am using along 2 x MS006.... planning to do in few days 2 Super Cali Haze under the 2 Pro 6
That the info I got:
"about 18"-24" at the start then once they are past the seedling stage 12" maintain through the stretch then drop the light to 9" on flower..but it can go as low as 6" just look out for stress."

My set-up is for the moment like this (in my sig grow) but will change and add the 2 x MS 006 instead of the Pro 6:

How do you like those airpots? I bought one, but I haven't tried it yet.

High!

Best way to go
Peace!

Are there any tricks to using them? In the past, I've used pots that came with a saucer to hold
any excess fluid that came down. Sorry for the dumb questions, but this is just different enough
to have me scratching my head.
