Currently I have 3 in DWC all started at 0.40EC and are currently almost thru veg at 0.80EC. I’m trying to do an entire run at less than 1.2EC. This is with 1.0 once they are completely into flower I’m switching to the 2.0 formula. I figure if @pop22 can run at less than 600ppm, then so I should be able too. Here’s one of my girls at just 0.80 and she still has just the slightest tip burn.
Do you add any Calmag?
No I don’t, but my tap water has plenty in it. When I use rain water I just add some Epson salts to the mix. My EC numbers don’t include the 0.2EC I start with out of the tap.
My water has a lot of Calcium, but I prefer to use RO. I like to start frof Zero. Sounds like you know your water, and add Epsom if needed. Good luck.
LOL heck my town is so small I know everyone that works for the water department. The only time I add epsom is with the rainwster. It’s as zero as your RO and pH is usually spot on. I feel blessed to have good rainwater, I hear horror stories about some places.
I have one of those pretty bags, but am still working my way thru my 3 pounds of 1.0. I will break it open once my girls hit full flower and feed with it until harvest.
