I am on my last week of a grow and I'm wondering if anyone has ever run their last week with only their flowering switch on ... I realize it's 1/2 the power, maybe less but I have to wonder what the tech guys say about doing it ... at present I'm not looking for growth, just piling on the frost and letting everything mature and cleanse w/o going too far ...

I would appreciate any input on the question of flowering under just the flowering lights on an LED ...

:tiphat:

I haven't seen any evidence showing this would make any difference, and can't really say it would help but someone else might have an opinion.

I wouldn't recommend it as on my reflector series if you only turn on flower switch the cooling fans don't come on so you risk overheating your unit

So far for me each time I add light growth gets better, the right nutes (bud enhancers) and color of light seems to produce fatter, harder buds. Less light won't help, imo, but more resin building nutes and the light to convert it the better the results. If your are flushing and don't want nutes I would stick with all the light.
