What does everyone think about flushing with molasses? I've read muddys guide and he says to flush with plain water but I've seen a lot of contradicting things saying to flush with a blackstrap molasses. I just started my two week flush with molasses and am second guessing myself. Anyone have any experience side by side?

If you are feeding molasses you are not flushing your still feeding. Lots of bloom boosters use molasses and carbs but you should still flush with h2o for 10-14 before chopping. Or you will be smoking molasses.

Flushing is referred to as u need to wash an over load of nutrients out.
So when it's harvest it cleanse ..
Molasses will leave to many sugars in ur smoke making it very harsh and bitter ...
H20 for a week is much better ...or dump an extra amount during the last few weaterings ..

However i've not used or heard of using molasses as a flush usually molasses would be used in brews for mid early to mid veg depending on the dilution however you can use molasses in bloom but not to late in flower would not recommend that route if growing in soil unless you are growing in hydro or aero where the by product and enzymes can be flushed quicker then that of soil. Also Imho I will and continue to use clearex for all flushing with the last 7 to 10 days only being R.O. water. Hope this helps. Take it easy brother.:smokebuds:
this may be a funny question but I am growing with a LED and my soil does not dry out like it would with an hps lamp. To give any idea, my grow room is at 26 degrees and I only need to water 1 MAYBE 2 times a week. I started flushing my plants a week ago but if I only flush them one time a week is this enough to get all the extra salts and nuts out for a nice clean burning smoke? I only use organics and a little big of GH Ripen. Any comments welcome! thanks
