I was thinking of trying out on of those food dehydrators for drying buds. The area I live in is a high rainfall & humidity area in autumn, we get mould in our wardrobes & drawers. Has anyone dried buds in a food dehydrator with success?
I wouldnt recommend using a Dehydrator to dry buds.
It will Dry to Fast and probably lose some Taste and Smell.
Maybe you can dry in brown paper sacks to help wick any humidity out of the Buds.
Since humidity is a problem where you live i wouldnt pack the Brown bags either. Just a few nugs on the Bottom of the bag with space between them should get the job do e for you.

I agree. If you dry you herb in a few hours using a dehydrator you will not have herbs that will not have a good THC content and it will crumble to dust in a few days. Slow dry...slow cure wins every time!
I have looked into these as vd I have read that as long as you don't dry too quickly ie below 65% rh then cure it should still work i personally would dry to about 70% then carry on with the classic curing process
Vas Deferens I use a food dehydrator to get my bud semi dry so I can do a jar cure immediately. Mold and humidity is everywhere I live at. Losing quality bud to bud rot and mold gets old quick. If you use a big cardboard box and string a bunch of lines through it, you can hang all the bud you want and get to drying with just one dehydrator. My friend who owns a dispensary is always trying to buy my stuff. If you over dry it the taste will lessen, but it stays just as potent and sticky. Mold be gone.
