speaking of off topic , when did the businessman Arjan become a breeder ?

news to me

back on topic , maybe a super auto sativa from stich crossed with a dp blueberry auto ? or visa versa depending on results as they can be completely different depending on which is mom and which is dad

edit, need to back away from the bong, i responded to 2 threads in one

think your confused , hit this :bong:

" My name is Franco, and i work at Green House Seed Company, in Amsterdam, since the year 2000. Over the last 10 years I have learned from Arjan countless tricks and advanced techniques, and I developed a few of my own as well. And now it’s time to share some of this knowledge with growers worldwide. If we share the knowledge, everybody wins." -

Yes Arjan is a breeder for those who follow/smoke GHSC seeds. =)

What are your recommendations b0b?

i dont like going below 6.2 in soil but could see possibly 6 , the going as high as 7 nearing the end is reasonable , i shoot for anywhere between 6.5 and 7

but thats when i have energy and im involved , lately im a 6.3 veg 6.5 flower or whatever it comes as once mixed , ive been at the same location/water source and used same nutes and soil for the past 5-6 years so pretty dialed in and do everything by eye/from memory

It is difficult not to like ole Franco. Anyone know what he was up to before joining GH and his nationality.

I always get a kick out of his complementary comment to the growers in Strain Hunter---"respect." He is so sincere. Then, of course, I chuckle thinking about Ali G and his overuse of the word.

key words "for those who follow/smoke GHSC seeds"

he started with shantibaba and also nevil , they left , he then went with franco , but they also farm out seed production

Arjan is a businessman not a breeder

edit, not tryin to bust ur balls , just keepin it real

But he says hes learned countless tips and techniques from Arjan - surely hes not talking about business? - All im saying is you think Arjan doesnt know how to breed and he owns an entire company breeding cannabis genetics? I'm not saying he is there as the top breeder in the labs etc - if i had all that money i would want somebody else to tend to my farms (Although personally i would still have a fantastic backgarden etc to care for and would have great interest and want to check how the farms are doing)

I agree b0b that he is probably as in terms of his role at GHSC atm yes he is the main businessman but i cannot imagine for a second he doesnt have an extensive knowledge in breeding + never growing his own plants before wanting to make his own strains

Maybe my statement of "second breeder to arjan at ghsc" was misinterpreted - i meant more in scale of experience/knowledge

Thats good to hear b0b on the pH front ive been hitting 6.3 in veg atm so far so good - What soil do you run in bro?

Is that a question about what franco done before and his nationality? Hes italian and he was basically doing the same but in italy lol. Thats why he takes great pride in what he does, as when he was in italy he was a criminal and in amsterdam he is respected

you dont know the history it seems

Arjan had coffee shops (smoke shops) he then branched out to a seed business , but NOT on his own , he was partners with shantibaba/scott blakey , that was the breeder , some years later shanti had enough of arjan and went his own way eventually opening mr. nice seeds

franco can say he learned everything he knows about breeding from arjan , it doesnt mean its true , and certainly doesnt mean its much

keepin it real for ya

He was an Italian army paratrooper, then smoked some weed.
