minor glitches not taking away from that wonderful, steady buddage swell
cheers grobro!
Thank you my friend!

To tell you the truth, the flowers I harvested were just fine…just leaf damage. Then again, a wise person once pointed out that we’re farming trichomes, the leaves are secondary :pass:

Also, something I’m going to attempt…

I’m going to stop supplementing with the calmg pro… because I have a feeling it’s causing a lockout when I’m just trying to supplement mg. So, I’m going to increase Sweet Candy as needed, since it’s got some good mg in it, plus other goodies….whereas the calmg pro has calcium and nitrogen, and I’ve a feeling I’ve been dealing with a calcium excess situation.

I read elsewhere onsite about someone having a similar situation with a different nutrient line, and the manufacturer recommended increasing bloom for the reason stated above…and things were apparently just lemon squeezy after that..

I’ve been chasing these deficiencies since switching to RO water….

I know it's another expense but I use water soluble gypsum and epsom salt in my RO .3 grams of each gives me 75-100 starting ppm. I do chase deficiency too most lead back to too much nitrogen or calcium. Or you could just mix tap with the RO MOG has always said RO is hungry for calcium and magnesium

I think what’s happening is when they kick into flower, they want less calcium and nitrogen, but still want the mag. The dang calmg pro is 12-0-3….and I’m thinking the nitrogen is contributing to a lockout, along with the calcium.

I might try finding some gypsum, I already have epsom here.

I’m leary about mixing in tap….do you just bring it up to 100ppm? :pass:

I just made some water this morning…. And just added in about a gallon and a quarter of tap to bring the ppm up to 96. To be honest, my tap is better than I expected….320ppm. So we’ll see how this goes….

Thanks @Lil Dab
:bighug: :headbang::pass: These are about the numbers of the old spring water I used to use. Don’t see why it won’t clear things right up!

Yeah that's my biggest beaf with mega crop they keep adding more nitrogen when it's not needed. When I've done the tap/RO thing I just mixed up 50-100 ppm. My tap is really high 350+ppm loaded with calcium carbonate and really alkalinity I had to cut my tap 3:1 ro:tap to get me <100ppm. So I think I know you well enough do you even know your tap water's ppm? Can you get a water report online? I couldn't just tested mine with at home test strips and a EC meter. OK never mind just read your latest message it has taken me a minute to make this message

Gypsum pretty easy to find you can get small bags on Amazon this is what I started with

I get this from BAS it's a much better deal last a long time I split it up into mason jars after opening bag. After finding you the link they used to have smaller bags at BAS they only have 50lbs now it's cheap but pita to store

So I just remembered I did this the most recent time same deal just on amazon smaller bags.

The main thing is that's its solution grade. I'm pretty sure this is my favorite way to do it cause it doesn't add any nitrogen. Tap was ok just little pain always having a bucket of tap ready to mix cause I would bubble it 24hr to make sure any chlorine was gassed off. I always have RO ready and just mixing the gypsum and epsom is simpler.

Must mention I only do this with mega crop and in soil I didn't have to do that with flora flex nutes
