So I got an offer from my electric company for free CFLs, it turned out to be a box of 20 ranging from 13 real watts to 26 real watts.. all soft white spectrum.
I used a few around the house, but they make great supplemental lights and to be honest, it's a good value since they charge nothing!
I typed "FREE CFLS" into Google and I see a lot of electric companies have a similar offer to this one, I'm posting this to let people know to check with their electric company to see if they have a program similar to this. Free bulbs never hurt!
