New Grower FreeLivin's 3rd grow- Dark Devil, Think Diff, NL Blue, THC auto bomb

day 16

Hello, think this is day 16, however things seem to be going very slow this grow, last grow by day 16 I had plants showing sex and about 8" or so, not this time. I can only speculate to why there are diff issues each grow, I think there is something to how I plant mine. So aside from being smaller than I think they should be (but since I don't have records of height at this stage any longer I can't be sure, also diff strains do diff things) there seems to be a deficiency in one, weird it's only one and this is the 1st time I've had deficiencies in any plant before 6 weeks, hmm, well I did just feed them, first feeding, it's way later than the previous two grows but the soil isn't drying out the same as before, I am using some new pots which need more holes for draining and I think the a/c is doing it's job well but isn't allowing the soil to dry as quickly (sounds like common sense) So I have 4 decent looking plants, one looking like it's got some def and one which has struggled since day one with height and it's yellowish but not looking like a def yellowish, but IDK. I have been way too lazy this grow, hmm I am wondering what other people do for feeding who have multiple plants, do they make one big 5gal feed and divide or do they make several diff ones for each plant. I only have 6 but it does take a lil while to make 6 individual things so I'm wondering if there is a simpler way (sure there is, always is but cost conscious as well) Well apparently this is long, no wonder no one comes by other than a select few..
And my LEDs are in Cincinnati, they've been there for two days waiting to get shipped out to it's final destination, can't wait...

here are a couple pics, still not much to look at. Thanks

Hi FL,

I think your plants look fine for 16 days. As to mixing nutes I just mix a batch big enough for all the plants.
Relax and enjoy your grow.

As to visitors, once you get your LEDs I would continue your grow journal there. I bet you will see more activity

So yer gettin a New LED eh? Im sure yer stoked about that man.I know I would be.Got a AC unit and a good sized room. DUDE!! If I may make a suggestion.to get a slight bit better canopy and dispersion of light as well as drainage and feeding rituals go...grab some cheap #5 type pots of something similar with a lil bit more perlite ,with your LED, dude..Now thats a show I wanna be part of man!

Hey Free! ladies are looking great man!!! Dont worry about their growth rate. It is all up to them when they want to grow up!! As far as people not chiming in on your grow....Do it for your self FIRST, for your own timeline and knowledge and folks will start showing up!! There are alot of grows going on, but with word of mouth and checking in on other peoples grows, they will show the love too!!!
As far as feed, I run 5 plants and a 5 gallon bucket and just divide the feed. I suppose I could tailor a feed for each, but I dont have the time or space to deal with 6 gallon jugs. Try taking a 5 gallon bucket, fill it with your water and drop a airstone in it running from a pump. It creates more oxygen in the root zone!! Trust me, it helps!!

Lol too funny, I appreciate the responses gentlemen and ladies if there are any... however I was just screwing around, after proof reading it I realized that damn it was kinda long and sucked lol. got some attention I guess hahaha - I'm kinda baked, sorry.

Hey Oldster thanks again bro, I had actually gone out and purchased a 5gal bucket and one of those long mixers you put on a drill, and the LEDs should be here today.

Hey eyes on fire, by canopy you mean room? As for dispersion the interior is board with slightly dull like mylar surface for reflection, I do kinda want to put down the white plastic for a lil bottom reflection, what else? I am using 3gal containers now, I love the white coolers but can't find em any more.
As for my mix, I have been trying diff things out, I am using a mix of 35%FFOF 35% Promix & 30% perlite,

Hey Briman, lol no doubt I've always done this solely for myself and the wife, I was just fuckin around. I haven't encountered too many instances where I didn't find the answer or worked it out, those I posted elswhere, but I appreciate it. I did as mentioned before get a 5gal yesterday and a mixer, I will look into getting a lil pump, $ is tight right now so hopefully there not too much. I need it anyway I've been toying with the idea of doing dwc, looks easier for someone like myself too and not as messy, so..

Well thank you again gentlemen.

Hello again, I'm only updating my LED status. As of yesterday I am the proud owner of two new led panels they're 280w panels that draw a max of 210 but average 180 supposedly, as well as have a custom ratio for me but I won't be able to know for sure till I get it checked. Now only figuring out how I need to hang them, everything was kinda designed around the mh/hps setup.
Also I did do a spray for the plant looking like she's missing some N and Mag, looked like it helped a little but also looks worse in the areas already damaged, but some color looks better, kinda confused why one plant is showing these symptoms. I don't tend to get overly excited when things like this happen, I usually end up waiting till the plant is almost dead before resolving the issue or getting frantic lol, not good but... Well here is a pic of the units, I will post another when I have them hung
I will continue this in the LED section as soon as I have things going.... Thanks

Hey man, grats on the new lights, they look nifty and at 180w draw each they will do some great things for you I suspect. I just wanted to add that I use carabiner clips to mount my light, I find it's very easy to raise/lower the light as needed until you find that perfect sweet spot.

Hey Nomis thanks for stoppin by, I'm not having an issue with what to use to hang them so much, it's my structure, I built the room with one cross beam for my light, wasn't expecting at the time to have two separate lights so I'm either hanging them horizontal which cuts my area down drastically or I have to add some crossbeams which I'm not too excited about having to do. I'm just being real lazy. Just curious what do you use with those, I currently have my lights on the rope with locking slide thing which I like but prob won't wait till they ship in.

Ahh ok, I understand now. Sounds like another cross beam may be the answer.

I didn't get the rope with the slide thing, mine came with picture frame wire to hang it with, so use those clips instead as I'm never happy with my distance to canopy and move it up and down a lot.
