Hi folks I've decided to build a replacement light for my old ms0006 after lots of research I decided
to go the gen 7 vero 18 B spec 34v 900mA test route 6x3000k 2x4000k I'm driving them with a hlg 185 c700b
and mounting them on a 40cm x30cm x4cm heatsink (16 x12 inchs)
the heatsink was second hand and had a few m6 tapped holes but nothing I couldn't fix
heres everything ready
I have already lengthened the power cords ac and dc the dimmer is going to be fixed close to the driver
remotely
cooling is done by 2 artic f12 fans running at 9v to keep thing quite

I decided on a 3 2 3 layout (red circle=3k black circle= 4k)

Then is was just a matter of drilling and tapping 16 m3 holes
fitting and wiring the cobs and attaching
the chains to the heatsink then double check the wiring again connect the driver and job done

When I fired it up to test I had the dimmer half way and it was stupidly bright
according to the spec sheet the cobs will run at around 24w each at about 165lm/w =over 30.000 lm
I'm no good at working out the efficiency
I didn't take any pics powered up as it's not in the tent yet and I have nosey neighbours
and that's it job done
happy DIYing folks
cheers nudd
