Hey dudes, I was trying to get my grow journal cracking but I have come across un problemo.
I germinated my 6 60day Lemon seeds from DNA Genetics and all of them popped. (Using the water cup method) You could barely see the roots coming out of the seed so I figured they were ready.
Anyway, I went to plant the seeds in the native soil here after digging it up and mixing some coco coir in it.
And they still havent sprouted after 4 days? even though I pre germinated them.
I kept the soil moist as much as I could even though sometimes the soil did crust over a little bit.
and the temperature has stayed in the lower 70's at day and lower 50's at night.
Any solutions?

I also did check the PH using the baking soda and vinager method and it all checked out.

Also Also, it is now currently raining decently hard should I attempt to try and cover where I planted to keep it from rotting?

Also Also Also I planted them all between 1/4 to 1/2 in below and lightly pressed in the soil above them.

Thanks dudes!

The crust probably kept them from pushing through...and the rain is going to make them too wet, I imagine. I have NO experience with OD but it seems most people get them started indoors in a controlled environment, then "harden" them by exposing them to limited outdoor exposure for a potion of each day, THEN plant them permanently outdoors. I don't think the seedlings can hang with those lows at first.

Good Luck!

iv had the same trouble with some off my beans that i got form pick&mix seeds done the same as yours :twist:,and i do all my beans the same way know, anyway hope the others pop for you brv :pass: Peace Kudo.jpg

Thanks KUDO And Trapper50Cal for the kind words I guess all I can do know is sit back and hope for some miracle!

I'm new to growing myself. Have germed 2 floating in water then into the soil. My nl took almost 7 days to pop out of the soil. The Roadrunner in 2 days. Keep your fingers crossed for another couple of days mate.

Some take longer than others. Without being there and seeing for myself it's hard to give a good guess. I've had seeds take 8 or 9 days to pop her head up. Conditions deffantily make a difference. Just be patient.

Thanks Dudes GOOD NEWS after that treacherous rain I went out to the grow location to say goodbye,
And low and behold 1 beautiful little seedling was up and shining!
This is an awesome day dudes
Thanks for all the good wishes!
I will start my grow journal once my new ipod comes in the mail!
