Hey everyone so any tips i need on germination straight into the soil?
Im going to be doing it straight into seedling compost mix and cover the pot with cling film and mist often???
Is this right any advice would really help.
Also will i need to have my hps on as some sort of heat?
Thanks to everyone who replies cant belive im actually going to start this, it has taken alot of time and patientce.. finally

I would at least soak them in some distilled water for 24 hrs, this will help them get started.Yes , the soil should be kept warm for better results. :vibe:

Cool thank you for the advice, So soak em in water and then striaght into final pots and cover and mist? yeah?. Should i just have my 400wt hps the same distance as i would for veg at the beginning?? And how long should i keep the light on for?

I soak mine till they crack and the tap root starts to show, which is usually anywhere from 24 - 48 hours. Then right into the soil, 1/2" deep. I thoroughly water my soil the day before I plant the seeds, then after planting, cover them with some screened peat moss and mist them well so the peat moss is also damp. Soil temps are important for proper growth and germination. Keep your soil in the 75 - 85 degree range. If you use the cling wrap over them, poke a few holes in it. If kept too moist the seeds can rot.

ive soaked my seeds for 13 hours and planted soil that is very damp where the seed is being planted, so far 3 out of 3 seeds have sprouted within 2 to 2.5 days

Yeah soak and strait to soil . But temps are very important so if you need your light on to keep em warm then turn it on. Peace

Thank you everyone really appreaciate the comments.
