New Grower Getting ready to harvest ?

First of a little update on the two plants maturity. One is really close to ready on a few colas, the amount of amber trichs is increasing and nearly at the 20% Mark I'm aiming for, though the majority of colas are just turning clear to cloudy,
So guess I'm going to cut the colas as they ripen ,
The second one is probably a week or so behind judging on it's overall aperience.
I have an issue with raising humidity, how far can I go with striping leaves off them to help..
Don't want to go to far with the second plant as it's still got a few weeks to go..

Do not cut off any of the sugar leaves. Go crazy on the fan leaves that are sticking our from the plant on those purple stems. This could be strain dependent but when my plants are ready for harvest the fan leaves will be turning yellow like tree leaves in the fall.

I agree with above post. Any of the sugar leaves stay but the upper leaves that hae stem hack em off exposing light to the lower buds making them a little more dense and aiding in the ripening.

A staggered harvest is fine. Just cut the colas that are ripened to your desired taste then wait on the others to finish up... h

Cheers.... just love the look of the colas, Big main bud at the top that seems to cork screw to the bottom , and that's nearing 12 inch... with plenty of trich production on the lowest levels...
Have had plenty of ups and downs along the way...
Being my first grow I didn't have any reference to how it should be going, other than online help and a good amount of research first..
Setting up the grow room, organizing the nutes schedule ...
but I'm beginning to think it will be worth it...
Just the drying / curing to master now..
