I bought some seeds lately from a pretty reputable seed bank a couple of weeks ago.
I've germinated about 20 seeds with a success rate of about 75% (14 tapped after soaking for 24, then paper towel).
Of those 14, all were planted in soil and given the same nutes and light.
10 are doing well, the other 4 are still at the cotyladon leaves after a week.

So I started soaking another 4 seeds.
This time in a Gibberellic acid mix at a rate of 50 PPM.

I'll keep you posted with pics as germination evolves.

Anybody have experience with this we can all learn from?

Cheers,
GC

Old thread, but I would say the GA will help germination but that is not what stopped your 4 seedlings. Once they put open cotyledons out, and a root, the seed genetics and environmental variables are all that's left to slow them down.
