Just bought a 300W GalexyHydro LED light. I don't want to damage my eyes, so I'm wondering if you all could recommend the appropriate glasses to wear while under these lights. Something effective that can be bought in the States, but hopefully cheap. Thanks.

there are some fancy glasses out there that balan ce out the pink to make things normal looking.
im a bit of a glipe and could well be wrong, but i thought any decent sunglasses with uv etc was fine.
waits for someone to tell me no you are wrong, you have to buy a pair of these at £60.
:pighug:

I have used shade [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] welding glasses for many years. Cheapies from amazon

I have been wondering a lot about this as well.

Currently I am running 3w epileds ufo and I bought some cheap green LED/protective glasses TRICHfarm I believe. They seem to work. But I still get eye strain and sometimes headaches.

As I understand, the problem with regular sunglasses is that they don't filter UVC rays. Usually the ozone layer does that, so there is no need. But with UV-LEDS, there is nothing to filter the UVC rays anymore.

Sorry I can't provide a link to this knowledge.
