Good evening everyone! I'll be doing here a weekly update of my current run with Go-Go Auto from the seeds we were given for the TWENTY20 MENDOCINO Go Go ( auto) showcase .
Before I get into the details of this run, to @Twenty20 Adam and the mods and my fellow testers I'd like to say I am extremely sorry for doing this run in so so so freakin late. The seeds had arrived promptly to my family in the US, but shit went down quite nastier than usual in my country during those times and it took a long time for me to manage to get my seeds here.
But they are all now in my home and around a week ago I soaked my first Go-Go Auto seed. I'll make sure to add some highlights from this run to the showcase thread.
The Go-Go Auto is being grown in coco+pumice, with MegaCrop 1Part (version 1.0 or 2.0) using the Autopot system but with the smaller 2.2 Gal pot. The tent is 2x2x4.5 and the light will be provided by an HLG 200 Diablo dimmed to 77.8 Watts. At the distance the pot is from the light the seedling is getting a bit above 300 PPFD / 19.7 DLI (measured with Apogee S520). Environment is usually in the 20C-25C and 55-70% RH ranges.
After soaking the seed in tap water for about 5 hours and putting it in moist paper towel on May 7th, the seed had al ready cracked and developed a half inch tap root by the afternoon of May 8th, and was placed in the final 2.2 gal pot with coco+pumice in the morning of May 9th. By May 11th it had broken soil and on the 12th you could see its cotys well opened.
Unfortunately, just after opening cotys I had an accident with a pair of sticky traps I have hanging around it which led to the seedling getting a little stunted I believe. Since the seedling got stuck to one of the strips and got pulled out of the coco, it could have ended much worse but I was able to peel it off the trap and replant it without loosing any parts... roots must have gotten damaged, though. I did wait a few days to see if it bounced back and it seems it has so here we are.
Anyhow... here are some pics of it all up to today. Any input or comment is always welcomed.
