About 2 weeks since my last update, and finally, somethings to look at!!!! Auto GDPs are all healthy! The largest already has purpling of the petioles and calyxes, as the middle one has it in a few spots but is about half as tall and the 3rd is the smallest plant in the grow w/ zero purpling..

The Dinafem Critical Jacks are almost identical!!!! Same height, structure and development.. Definitely been waiting a long time to grow these as the first time I did, I had a bad case of spider mites that wiped it out, almost 3yrs ago.. Such is life.. The Humboldt Bubba Cheese are slowly building.. They have similar shape, but one has an unusual main cola that is still growing.. They seem to be about a week or 2 behind everything else, so I figure they'll probably finish last..

The WoS NLxBBs..... One ended up not making it, so there are only 2.. 1 has shown sex, and has for some time now, while the other is starting to make me think it's not a full auto, or I accidentally got photo seeds.. It's growing great, just now where I'd like it to be, so if it turns out to not sex by the end of next week, then I'm probably gonna transplant over to a larger, 7 or 8gal pot, tie down some branches and move it outside w/ the Samsara Ultraviolets that I'll be starting towards the end of next week or the week after..

My pepper hoard is doing awesome!! Just started my summer squash, zucchini and cucumbers.. Tomatoes are starting to take off as well as the chives, catnip, and will be starting some cat grass for the kitties and possibly starting the spinach, lettuce and additional herbs..

So my grandmother gave the wife and I a tulip and a hycynthia (sp?), but since I don't want the cats eating them and it's still too cool out for them, I put them down in the grow.. Turns out, hycynthia smells stronger than weed!!! Made the grow smell phenomenal, but they're starting to die a bit, so it was fun while it lasted!!!

Back with a lagging-ass update!!! Buds are starting to really explode and take off!! The smell when I open the door is outta control!!!!!


The WoS NLxBB that seems to have been a photoperiod this whole time, has basically been vegging for almost 2 whole months, so if I move her outside, she has the potential of getting big, so now it's a toss-up of whether or not I keep her inside and fire the tent back up, or if I just risk it.. When I get home, I plan on cutting some clones off of it because I do appreciate the plant's structure and the shear amount of bud sites popping up daily is unreal!! My GDP didn't grow half this well, so it's a keeper, regardless!!! Worst case, if anyone is from the Massachusetts area and wants some NLxBB photo clones, I could probably hook you up if I get enough interest!! Her auto sister is doing quite well and is growing almost exactly how my last NLxBBs grew.. I almost want to try and grow some outside to see how they fair, but I'm getting ahead of myself!!

The MSNL Auto GDPs are chugging along and I must say; even compared to the 2 Bubba Cheese I'm running right now, the auto GDPs STIIIIIIIIIIIIINK!!!!!!!! I brushed up against it a couple days ago, and it was like I spilled lemon furniture polish all over the grow!! I don't recall the photo GDPs of past having THIS strong of a lemony/fruity smell, but I'll take it!!!!!! The largest of the 3 has the most profound purpling and the leaves are the largest. The other 2 are very deep green w/ hints of purple at the calyxes, but not too much else..

The Humboldt auto Bubba Cheese are cruising along quite well, albeit a bit behind everyone else!! They have some unusual pistils that almost make the buds look like porcupines!! They are all sticking straight out w/ no curliness or bends.. Doesn't really have a smell yet, at least that I can differentiate from the GDPs..

Aaaaaand, the Dinafem auto Critical Jacks are stacking buds like champs right now!! One of them though, the larger fans are starting to yellow and I feel like I should have another 2-3 weeks w/ these, but we'll see.. They smell phenomenal!!!

All of the veggies are doing well and I am aiming for next weekend to move them outside, although I may have to do a few at a time over the course of the week so I don't destroy my arms/back early in the season..

I guess this is going to be my sorta-regular interval of doing updates, as I find myself over in the Live Stoners and Organics section a lot more. It's no offense to anyone, as I've been growing for a few years now, I'm finding it more of a chore to do constant updates of my stuff but I am going to start making an attempt to tag my thread with relevant strains and harvests so people can search it and find info.. I'm probably gonna shift to just doing monthly updates, unless something cool happens or I feel compelled to post here.. I may add more stuff related to my veggie garden if I can get it to take flight and I may convert the veggie garden into a greenhouse for next year, or perhaps the late Fall and start early Spring next year..

Anyway, off to the buds, shall we??

I woke up early, as always and I decided to chop Dinafem Critical Jack Auto [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG].. Just dumped the soil and it had an incredible root system!!!! I should've taken a picture but I put the soil out in the veggie garden bin.. Compared to the GDP Auto, it had a far superior root system.. Not really sure how these are gonna dry as they feel dense and the smell is AMAZING!!! Fruity, sorta skunky, kinda diesely, and very VERY resinous.. Maybe get a bit over 1oz from this one?? Hopefully!!! It has a larger sister that still has about a week or 2 to finish I think..

Next is the MSNL Granddaddy Purple Auto.. Now, of the 3 of them I'm growing, this was the largest.. Knowing the lineage of GDP, it has Purple Urkle x Purple Kush, IIRC, and this plant looks eerily similar in purple as the Delicious Auto Dark Purples I grew, which are a cross between Purple Kush x OG Kush, so this leads me to believe this will be the more purple-kush in its smoke and flavor.. It's REEKS of lemon furniture polish!!!!! lol Unfortunately, the buds are all super fluffy, so I'll be lucky to get a solid ounce out of this one, but the other 2 of them actually LOOK like photo GDP, just a lot smaller lol Those too, smell of lemon furniture polish..

Next up in my chop-fest will likely be the other 2 GDPs and then 1 of the Humboldt Bubba Cheese autos.. They're turning purple-red, which is kinda cool.. Then, maybe the NLxBB and the last CJ and last Cheese.. All kinda finishing staggered which is great for my chopping hands as my hands have been all sorts of wrecked lately..

So the grow room is about as empty as it's been since I started growing again from my hiatus.. Only one plant remains, although I've got a sort of small thang going on in the background.. A guy I work with had collected 4 Tangerine Dream bag seeds (guessing photoperiod) and gave them to me to grow with no sort of strings attached, so I've got them in a humidity dome w/ the clones that I took from the NLxBB, and I'm gonna only veg them a couple weeks and then throw them in the room w/ the NLxBB and flower them out to see how it turns out.. I'll probably toss him half the bud just for giving me the seeds, as he's always blazing his concentrate w/ me at work.. Seems only right!!!

All of the autos have been chopped as of this past weekend.. The Bubba Cheese autos have very little smell, but the NLxBB that DID auto, smells amazing!! They should be hopefully going into the jars by the end of this weekend, and I'm probably gonna start another batch of concentrate.. I did a run of about 3oz-ish and got 6gms of some beautiful amber Everclear extraction..

Also, for the Outdoor competition, I've got 2 Samsara Ultraviolet autos going.. By the name, you'd think they'd be some sort of very purple strain, however all of the pictures I've seen, show a very green and vibrant, sativa-heavy plant, so I'm excited.. My first outdoor grow, so we'll see how I fair!!!

Good god has it been a while since I've updated this thing!!! A lot has been grown and a lot has been cut down and smoked.. Lemme see if I can catch up quickly..


I'm gonna post some pictures of everything that's gone on and you can sorta figure things out from there but with Autumn and Winter approaching, indoor growing becomes my escape.. There have been an assortment of things happening.. The Ultraviolets turned out kinda shitty; 1 was nearly destroyed by mold.. I salvaged about a quarter oz off her.. The other, I didn't want to risk, so I brought it inside to sit with the NLxBB that decided not to auto for me.. Then, a friend from work gifted me 3 Tangerine Dream photo seeds, unknown breeder, but I decided I would start them outdoors, veg them a couple weeks and then straight to flower because honestly, I'm surprised they made it.. Regardless, they grew to one long stalk, nearly 3ft tall.. 2 of them smell almost EXACTLY like the FB Pineapple Express autos I did.. The 3rd, has a more fruity smell.. Regardless, there should be an ounce or so off of them.. They are tall and almost completely sativa-dom.. Anyway.. I executed the NLxBB that didn't auto about a week and a half ago and it's been in the jars for a few days now.. Already starting to take on some nice fragrances and nice flavors that are absolutely NOT NL, maybe more BB lol Anyway, I ended up only getting about 5oz of decent bud from this girl but the veg time was only about 2 months and a week or so..

So I haven't popped beans since March so naturally, this morning was a big morning.. I'm growing some allegedly heavy hitters... This is gonna be a Dutch Passion Grow, in ALL-ORGANIC!!!!! Technically, it's a water-only set-up, but several supplements, teas and goodies can be added to enhance the grow, which I'm throwing all all the stops.. The plants will be:

- Dutch Passion Auto Ultimate
- Dutch Passion Auto Cinderella Jack
- Dutch Passion Think Different

I'm doing 2x each of those to get a good start.. Soil will be augmented everyone other week in 15ltr nursery pots..

Lighting is gonna see a little change this round.. I ordered a pair of AutoCOBs from @BigSm0 the other day and he has amazingly fast response times and shipped in less than 24hrs, so I couldn't be happier, ESPECIALLY seeing all of the amazing results our members and have been ripping off in record times!!! It is going to fully enhance my area and in a couple to a few weeks, I'll be getting another pair from him to pretty much finish my area's lighting.. I've decided to add a little bit of side-ish lighting in the form of 4ft T8-LED lights that I will hang on the "darker" or non-reflected sides of the grow.. If these plants live up to their reputations, I'm gonna need the space..

With the new COBs coming, that means I can easily open up the grow another 3-4ft, making the entire area about 2m x 3m or a bit over 5ft x 8ft..

A few weeks into the DP plants growing, I'm gonna be starting 4 Dinafem Auto White Widow XXLs, and will see how they do with my soil combination.. Dinafem has been one of my favorite breeders and I know the next round will be some Dinafems.. OG Kush Auto, Sour Diesel Auto, WW XXLs, Critical+ auto and Critical+ 2.0.. Gonna be a hefty one!!!

lol you can say that again!!! My original goal when I first started growing a bunch of years ago was to never pay for bud again.. Well, unfortunately, I've still had to buy bud a handful of times; mostly because some of the phenos I grew turned out small and unimpressive, BUT, for the most part, I grow enough to support the dabs, the edibles and the smoking stash, usually with some to toss to friends, vets, homeless, etc... My wife is also a patient, so it turns out well..

In the next week or so, once the AutoCOBs get here, things are gonna start expanding.. If they get here sooner, then I will start the 4 Dinafem auto White Widow XXLs to get an idea of their size and whether or not they'll fit in here well..

I just went through my seed stash, and what I thought was a good amount of stock, turns out that I only have about a year's worth of growing, so I may have to get on the seed-buy-train again..

So far my favorites:

1. Fastbuds Auto Pineapple Express: Plants turned out wicked small, however the bud was some of the best tasting/strongest I've ever grown!!! I have 2 more seeds and am hoping for something that produces more next round

2. Nirvana Blue Mystic auto: Amazing flavor, easy to grow, large producer, definitely gonna be one I get a 10pk or more for..

3. Dinafem Critical Jack: Another amazing producer with a great post-cure smell and taste!!!

4. Ministry of Cannabis White Widow auto: Great producer, great smell, great bud!!!

5. DP Blueberry auto: Took a little longer to cure for optimal taste/smell, but everyone who smoked it loved it!!

6. Auto Seeds Candy Kush Auto: Amazing smell, decent producer, WORST munchies I've ever had!!!

7. World of Seeds NLxBB auto: Grown these a few times and they are extremely consistent and a good flavor.. Had one that didn't auto and produced about 6oz. dry, so things could be worse, I suppose!!

8. Heavyweight Fruit Punch auto: Great producers and easy to grow, but either I had issues drying/curing, or the bud just didn't have that strong, fruity smell.. Just had a lot of it..


Anyway, just to recap my previous threads on this stuff.. Feel free to wade through all of this, as there is some info in here, mostly about strains.. I have another thread that I stopped using over in the "New Growers" section, as I felt after 5yrs, I'm not really a "new" grower anymore but that could be arguable.. lol
