Old Reviews Grasshopper Vape " Legite or Scam" ??

You know, sometimes things go wrong. Its an imperfect world. But I like hearing that these guys are super pro active about backing up the product. I have been looking at one of these hard and when I have the funds to buy my next Vape they are rising higher on my list with posts like this. I have a cheap herb vape that has done its job but am always trying to find more utility and stealth. STEALTH, as I live in a part of the country where they have to pipe the sunshine in. So you guys need to keep us informed of your journey with these pens so we can get a fuller picture. I have bought enough duds filled with empty promises in my day to want to deal with people that are dedicated to building a better mousetrap.

I have owned Seven different portable vapes, some were good others terrible.
Sometimes entry level level vapes like the Flowermate V5.0s & the Hebe Titan II can surprise you as they do a pretty good job for not a lot of money.
One of the main thing to remember when buying a vape is what aspects are important to you.

  • is it for occassional use?
  • Do you want replacable batteries?
  • Can it be charged from a portable power bank? (some are only able to be charged with the supplied charger)
  • Does it need to be stealthy?
  • Do you want big clouds of vapor?
  • Can it easily fit in your pocket?
  • So you want an easy draw ?( some have serious draw resistance, like sucking a thick shake through a straw)
  • Is it only for personal use or do want to session with friends?
  • Do you want the best flavor possible?
  • Are you looking to get something which is inexpensive to buy?
  • Are you looking for something that is easy to clean?
  • Are you wanting to do concentrates?
  • Are you looking for a multi use vape?
I could keep going but it is important to think about how you the user want your vaping experience to be!

I would encourage anyone wanting to get a new vape to do as much research as possible and pick out lets say three vapes that falling to your selected search criteria!
Then do a really good search of them in reviews online and on youtube!
Then you can pick you final selection and order it.
No one want to spend their hard earned cash, only to find the vape is next to useless or doesn't fit with their lifestyle.

I became somewhat of a vape collector always searching for the perfect vape for my needs.
Always looking for the next best thing or longing after vapes that were out of my price range.

The Grasshopper caught my eye when it was still being crowd funded, I wasn't even sure if it would even become a reality.
It is a great vaporizer that suits my needs but I wouldn't say it is for everyone.
If you want keep having chamber after chamber (which I can't see the need for) then the unit will get hot, as it is a tiny form factor and 95% metal!
If you want to session with your friends passing it around and again multiple chambers being vaped it will get hot!
However if you want something in you pocket, super stealthy, have near instant warm up, amazing terpene proflies, have a chamber and get on with your day, it is awesome!
This is the my best vape to date bar none, it suits my needs and that is what counts!
As I mentioned other peoples needs will vary and so will their perfect vape!
In my previous post I did mention I had a fault after a month but I got a replacement part in just two days fro my vape supplier after putting a warranty request from Hopper Labs.
The Grasshopper boasts a lifetime warranty, that in itself is truly incredible.
If I do get another fault then no biggie, I always make sure I have a spare vape at home just in case, in life things do sometimes go wrong, weather it be a washing machine or your car etc.
With the lifetime warranty it gives you piece of mind knowing it will be sorted, rather than having to put it i the trash.

We will be having Hopper Labs here with us In a Auto Warriors Live Interview on 9th of December and where you can ask questions about the Grasshopper to one of their representatives!
Time will be 6PM GMT and we will put a poster up in Live Stoners with US & Euro times.
I hope you will join us as I am really looking forward to it!
We hope to start interviewing more vaporizer companies in Live Stoners and to have them join us as vendors so you have a rep here in the forums to ask questions to!

2017 is going to be an amazing year here at AFN!

Very nice answer. I currently have a clone Mighty Vape and it has worked well but is not at all stealthy and has a warm up time that is not much shorter than my E nano. I dont share a vape very often and think of it more as a personal use tool. For me, a vape would be most useful when I am out and on the go. I love a good rip off the bong and would like to have something that has a nice cool even draw.

If I go the way of a grasshopper I would love to hear more about your personal settings with it and I look forward to trying to be here for the chat with the makers.

Here the grasshopper and the my Blaze mix'n'match 8 arm perc with Glycerine cooling coil.
I'm a using a chillum here because I didn't have the right Glass on Glass adapter.
I normally only use this bong with my Vapexhale Cloud Evo Desk vaporizer.

This set up works a charm, Love the Cloud Evo and like the Grasshopper it is a convection vape too!

I sometimes do crowdfunding and Kickstarter and I can see the fun and all that. But, this company sounds an awful lot like some of the Bitcoin miners that never really delivered. The very few people that got the miners like them but most people were just left out in the cold.

If you're looking for stealth I don't think you can beat the Pax 2. It's available to ship from Europe or the United States.

Has a great capacity heats up quick Chargers quick. You can only do flowers though that's the one thing.

It is basically a sipper but it has a very nice dense Vape. Clean up is easy and you only have to do it about every 6 or 8 uses. Just stick stiff pipe cleaner and some alcohol push it down from the top couple times pops the bottom box out clean that up you're done.

I've had one since August, vapor quality is excellent, I'd say 95% of my cloud EVO. The only real downside IMO is the short battery life- each one lasts about one bowl or 0.15gr. But the batteries are pretty cheap so you can get more easily. The heat-up time is pretty amazing technology- completely obsoletes my MFLB that's for sure.

Hopper is great but about as reliable as a Crafty! Luckily there's a Lifetime Warranty and a very fast turnaround through Vapefeind in the UK who are a great company run by enthusiasts. The Vape really has to be used to believed.Heat up time is seconds a powerful little Beast. The only downside and it's a big one is it needs to be hit through water as its too harsh solo. Still my go to for huge rips extraction is second to none desktop included!
