Outdoor Great strains for outdoor growing?

I have looked into the best strains for my climate (UK) and have pretty much decided on the Dutch Passion Colour Fem seed mix No. 2 which is linked below. I also read that Purple Power is a great outdoor strain. Any comments are welcome from outdoor enthusiasts.

EP, not sure what lat you are at, but I wouldn't want to chance the 8+ week flowering time here at 48 N.
IMHO you can't go wrong with much of the OD gear from RCMC, especially the HighRise genetics. If I wasn't already set for this years OD grow, I would also try some of Sweet Seeds Fast Versions of a couple of their photo strains this year.

Stickman, I just checked and I am 56 latitude. So I will check your recommendations. Thanks for the tips.

Usually end of March into April, but the UK weather is so unpredictable there is no hard and fast rule. Start 'em off indoors then into a propagator and then harden them off in a clotch. If you keep them in pots for their early life then you can bring them inside for frosty nights. Frost=Death. When frost is a memory they can be dug into your prepared soil. Don't go by a date, stick your thumb in the air and use common sense

I'm 43 N, as for DP seeds check out photo Frisian Dew, I plan on starting indoor late April or beginning of May and planting outdoors June 1st. Started gathering my super soil mix already, can't wait!

Yep I'm at 43 also. I'll look for your grow journal! we can compare notes lol. I'm shopping for seeds right now. will start then indoor end of march, hoping to do a small greenhouse in april.

Makes sense to try an outdoor bred auto like the durban or fresian but why not chuck in an exotic one too see what happens? Start in 1st week may indoors 4 weeks then out, you could get a second wave out too after but make sure they are a quicker auto 60 70 dayer.

Where u at outdootgrower ? Need to atleast know your latitude for best advice, im at lat53 and im gonna try out the durban poison photo and thats pure sativa.
