I'm into my 7th grow.
3 with ruderalis hybrids I'm creating, 2 regulars out doors, and my second grow in a 2x4 tent.

I'm curious by nature, and all I've been seeing and reading on the web has been the virtues of growing in coco vs soil (Pro mix or Sunshine4 in my case).

Soil has the advantage/benefit of buffering nutes quite well and watering once in a while as required to keep the plant happy.
This same watering approach is part of soils short comming.
The plant either absorbs water/nutes or oxygen...not both (well not in a scientific sense anyways).
And so the cycle of feed dry, feed dry...etc..etc.. isn't as efficient for the plant to grow as coco.

Coco is a little more involved , in that you have to stay on top the the feeding events (fertigation).
Coco is not as forgiving with newbile mistakes as soil is.
It will however allow you to quickly correct a situation if you're paying attention to things like EC & PH.

Although this site is fantastic for all that is autoflowers.
There is a lot of missing information specific to coco as a medium.
So I wanted to share with you a site I have found on the web that is akin to our own site, but coco specific!:woohoo1:

After having viewed a couple of their HOW TO videos, I was quite impressed with the level of explanations presented.
I found many of my unanswered questions to be answered here, and look forward to trying coco instead of soil.
At least this site will teach you from begining to end, and all you ever wanted to know about coco.

www.cocoforcannabis.com

I hope you enjoy the site as much as I did.
Cheers,:pass:

I've been tempted to buy the book, but the site keeps adding new tutorials that are quite informative.

Maybe a bit late, but recently listened to an interview of Dr MJ Coco who runs the cocoforcanabis website, hes basically put all the info of the book for free on the website in the form of articles and howto videos.
