Anyone ever use this brand?

I'm in the market for new soil..i've been using a mix of FFOF, Compost w/ biochar, and Black Gold Organic Seed Starting Mix.

It worked out fine, but I'm always up for improvement :)

This Green Planet Naturals stuff seems pretty good. But then again, Miracle Gro sounds good on paper lol.

So those are the 3 that I'm looking at. This is the description on Amazon for the All Purpose, but it says pretty much the exact same thing on each one lol

  • Top Quality Indoor/Outdoor Planting Mix
  • All Purpose Potting Soil is perfect for use in containers, planters, hanging baskets, and garden beds on patios, balconies, decks, and in windowsills.
  • Developed and tested to maximize moisture retention and soil aeration for the optimal growth of plants.
  • Made from Organic Compost, volcanic pumice, coco coir, and spaghnum peat moss.
  • Includes GPN Organic Compost made to USDA's National Organic Program (NOP) standards for certified organic food production.

Thoughts?

its a decent soil, ive known several ppl to use it with chem nutes n so forth with solid PH outta the bag.Im assuming itll treat ya right with the Ph but if your mixing soils make sure ya use some lime and the Bio char is really nice stuff.just to really get the best use out of it(bio char) it will need to blend into the soil for a good 30 days or more.not cook so to speak its a melted blending of the components of the soil(bio char) and really helps your soil if you keep it more organic.but imo I say go for it.its essentially a mellow black gold soil with good grows Ive seen with it.thats my two on that soil.hope that helps ya decide.:Sharing One:oh Ive not personally used it btw.but hear the drainage is good too so.

Well the boyfriend end up ordering soil one day while I was asleep. He got a bag of Fox Farm Happy Frog and some Roots Organic. Do you have experience with either of these soils? lol

I have extensive experience with roots and some FF and am well aware or the proprietary components within FF soils although ill not personally recommend them but OF is a decent mix as a blend imho.but yeah a lot more knowledgeable bout those. a waay better choice if your soup or tea feeding your roots n soils with an inoculate or whichever organic method you choose.
