Have just ordered 1L Green Planet Pro-Cal (CalMg) to use in my grow, she is at day 1 now and in Bio Bizz Light Mix, have also got Bio Bizz Grow + Bloom.

So will this CalMg be ok to use with the Bio Bizz nutes, and if so when should i start adding it and would it be ok to mix it in with the grow nutes and then later be mixing the grow+bloom+pro-cal ?

Was going to start the grow nutes at week 2, but i see on the Bio Bizz feed chart they recommend week 1 will this be ok or is it going to burn her, also are the amounts correct on the Bio Bizz chart as i know some companys over quote the amount to make you buy more product ?

I think u shouldn't feed for the first two weeks just root stimulator like root juice bio bizz light mix should have enough nutes for the first two weeks I used bio bizz on my last grow and it is very mild so don't be afraid of it also its fine to mix cal mag with your feed using it every other feed should be fine

Also the bloom i have got is 8 months old from my last grow, has been stored in a dark plastic cupboard outside. That is in the shade so has never got to hot, but has been about cold about 2c over that past month or so, it should still be good to use for one more season right ?

Dont have any root stimulator for this grow, so will just be feeding with PH6.5 filtered tap water.

Not sure about shelf life think its up to a year what's it look like ? I know grow gets really thick after a long time

Not thick at all, looks the same as when i got it after a real good shake. The new bottle of grow i got is alot thicker than the bloom to start with, hopefully the guy in my local growhop did not sell me a bottle thats been on the shelf to long, dont think he would as is a nice guy and is always happy to try and help. The shop have there own seed line (Mr Natural Seeds) and have been going 10 years so feel i can put my trust in them.

Grow is thicker anyway so don't think u have been ripped it just gets really bad after a long time

Good to hear, did not think he would do, got a smaller bottle of grow so should be all used up by the end of this season.

Anyone else know about this brand of CalMg, look at the Botanicare CalMg+ but was over double the price and the only other option i had was Grotek Cal-Max, but saw a warning online about using it as it contains sodium chloride so stayed away from that one.

I think if you use bio bizz light mix you are advised to use biobizz Alg a mic as well.

Thanks for the advice, i read somewhere the use of Alg-A-Mic can depend on the type of water being used and can work amazing in some cases and do more harm than good in others. My water is being filtered using a Brita filter and come out at a PH6.5 after filtering, when direct from the tap is about 7.1

Found the following info from the councils website on the water compostition in this area, has been translated using google and is uses metric measurements, if that helps in anyway.

Ok have been some more reading today and it seems to be UK growers in hard water zones having trouble Alg-A-Mic, and from what i have managed to work out looks like we have very soft water here. So emailed my local growshop and he has the Alg-A-Mic in stock, so am going to swing by tomorrow and pic up a bottle along with the Root Juice.

So now i will have at my disposal Bio Bizz Grow+Bloom, Green Planet Pro-Cal (CalMg), Alg-A-Mic and Root Juice. Think that i should be good now.
