Would a 4 foot cube cabinet be big enough to flower most autos?

My cab is four by two and a half feet and is ok for a couple of the smaller ones and for scrogging. Depends what u are growing and how many. Have a look at some of the closet setups on the forum and the stealth grows for a good idea of what you can and can't do with that space. I found got to plan out setup meticulously when limited by space as the amount of gear uses up loads of room!

thats plenty big

of course there will be a few limitations with that space, but for general auto growing you shouldn't run into any issues.

My grow tent is 2x4x5.

I wish it was a little taller. My third grow shot up over 3 feet, and would have kept on going if
it hadn't bumped into the glass of the hood. If you can make that a little taller, that would be
my suggestion.

depending on what you are using for lighting, height could become an issue. But plenty of ways to control or get around that. LST, scrog, smaller pots and more plants etc..

and as Fisherboy noted, it also depends on your goals. Are you going for the big score and monster plants? Or are you just looking for enough till your next harvest?

I've seen good results from some of the PC grows on here.

Good luck in whatever you decide :tiphat:

4' tall will work if that is all you have to work with, but you will just have to be more aware of how tall your plants are. The type of light and exhaust will be big factors as well. HPS will make that box hot and if the light gets too close to the plant it will scorch it.
My first grow box was 2' deep 3 ' wide and 4 'tall. Fortunately, I was using LED's as my third grow went to the top of the box, I had to bend the top branches over.
Once you get started 4' will seem cramped, but if that is all you have, it will work just fine.

One last thing, unless you are really small, a 4' deep 4' tall cabinet will be a pain in the ass to work the back in. You will probably end up not using the back to it's full advantage because it is a pain to get to.
Although, I did have a friend solve that problem by making a heavy duty carousel.
