Well my little experiment has results...After rubbing a clean non pollinated q-tip on some pistols, it seems they died off to. Of course no seeds cause there was no pollen. So it would appear that just because the pistols started to die off, doesn't mean pollination took...Gearbear, not disrespecting your method at all. I'm sure it works fine. I just wanted to see what happens when non-pollinated Q-tip was introduced to the pistols...Apparently their fairly fragile.

Guess I left off on day 37.
5-2-11: girls are 38 days old in this update...
Rubbed NC420's 4-way pollen on the WR#2 today. Already posted results of the test. So I won't go into it again...Gave all plants, except the Mazar #1, 1/2 tbs of Earth Juice Hi-Brix Molasses per gallon of water.
5-3-11: 39 days old.
Did the same to the Mazar #1 today. Her watering is off schedule compared to the others. That's ok to. Just more work for me...
5-5-11: 41 days old
Fully watered the Mazar #1, water only...
Fully watered the other 5 plants to. T.B. with a PPM of 1320...Also Have 6 AK-47 and AK-Runner's popped up outside. It's my first outside auto grow. Hope they are left alone by the yard lurker's (wifes cousins).
5-6-11: 42 days old
Gave the Mazar #1 the left over nute solution form the others. About 1/4 gallon, just to tide her over till the next watering...
She's staying right at 4 ft. tall. I think her vertical growth has finally stopped...
Now I have 9 seedlings up outside. Can't wait to see them in the full sun.
I have a few pics I'll post here. One has seed pods w/seeds. It's the AK-47 pollen I forgot I had. Seems it took just fine. Unfortunately, that's the only pollen that took. I think I may get 6 seeds off her (The Mazar #1)...Also found some liquid Seaweed additive. I'll post a pic of that stuff to. If anybody has used this particular product, let me know how it worked for you...

I wouldn't count it out just yet JM. There weren't that many pistols that died off with tester Q-tip. Just a few and I rubbed it all over that flower. So it was more damage to the pistols than anything. I just think the pollen must have jarred loose from the Q-tip that I received. IDK.

yeah! they are looking great! ok... well maybe I'll test with my paintbrush and misting... and see if they respond the same as when I polly... thatd be a good control I guess.

Yes by all means, go for it. Let me know how it comes out. Maybe even try a few pistols with a Q-Tip. See if you get the same results with both applications. Great idea dude.
Thanks NC, trying some Seaweed stuff tonight on her. But going to go easy at first. I want to see what it does...Harvest, what's that? Buy the looks of the mazar #1 it'll be this October. lol No, she's coming along very nicely now.
