I've just seen JM saying the same thing about "setting" the pollen with a water spray after pollenation..
and..
he says it produces More seed..

IF it does..it is something we ALL need to know..

would it be possible for you to run an alongside..Live Experiment for us...?

Man Wiz, I wish I had some pollen . I'd love to do it, but it would have to wait until my next grow. That wont be for around 30 to 40 days. Even then, I'd have to grow out a male, which I was planning on doing anyway. If you want to wait, that's fine w/me, but if this is something you want to get out ASAP, then by all means, go for it...I'm just tickled pink that u asked . Thank you!!!

I had the WR singled out as a Fave from the page before I Love her structure..

then I got to Big Bud and Loved her over-head..
then I saw the Mazar..the little face and growth I know and love..
(the First photo is Tufty..just how I enjoy them..)
then I couldn't decide which one I Loved the Best...

Hell, I thank him to myself, every day I look at my girls...Mine to, the WR I mean, is my fav. but the Mazar is...and the Fast Bud....I see what ya mean dude. See i too have luck with spraying right after i pollinate. If i do this to the branch it seems to get every single mature caylx that is redy to take pollen. Then i seal the little plastic baggie and then "shower" the rest of the plant wait for the plat to dry remove bag spray one more time and then back to the room. has worked like a charm every single time. The only time i got seed every there was when i was harvesting a male and then walked out to the room not paying attention to what i was doing and the vacuum snatched what pollen was on my shit..... need less to say on that harvest i got more seed than i needed lol....

Wiz suggested a whole artical on this subject... JM does the same thing... So there may be something to this that I was unaware of. I mean I understand the part about water destroying pollen. Like in storage of pollen. But when I mist my girls, it's just about enough to create pollen mud so to speak. I also speaking in general. But it works for me to.

Theory being that in nature... the pollen would get caught on the wind after the dew has dried and sacs have opened... and carried to the females... then at night when the dew falls again... it would helps settle the pollen into the flower.... and upon looking it up:

The pollen is eventually released by the opening (dehiscence) of the anther, generally by means of longitudinal slits, but sometimes by pores, as in the heath family (Ericaceae), or by valves, as in the barberry family (Berberidaceae). The pollen is carried by some external agent (wind, water or some member of the animal kingdom) to the receptive surface of the carpel of the same or another flower. This process is known as pollination. After successful pollination, the pollen grain (immature microgametophyte) completes its development by growing a pollen tube and undergoing mitosis to produce two male gametes (sperm).

hey what do you think of those fast buds? Mine were sooo tasty. They reminded me of flintstone vitamins from when I was a kid. I crossed my fast buds and i hope to come across that aroma again in the f2s.
