Indoor Growing Scrog

Thanks for the reps @DOA, @Trichome farmer, @Antonio_DutchPassion and @Kausk!
Much appreciated fellas! 😊

New-ish 150 watt light with simple blue/red light control. Around $90 ...
( I borrowed a friend's similar Viparspectra with the lenses -- they even out the light nicely. )

Looks like a decent light for the price bro.
I’m happy with the 2 $69 150 watt Ecohoms I just bought off Amazon a few months ago. I have them in my 4x2’ tent and they did well growing the 2 Whites. They should easily yield 3 grams per watt.

Another masterclass :worship: :pighug: skills beyond words my friend.. truly awesome.
Thank you Hope!!! šŸ™

I think the WG3 is one of the best Cultivars I've used for your 420method and she never disappoints. Are there any current plans for a WG4 or 5 for this giant @Sawney_bean ?
I completely agree my friend!
Sawneys Whites is a great cultivar to SCROG. Always guaranteed huge, dense and extremely frosty colas every time I grow it. I would like to run a couple with every round but got others I need to grow first. :rolleyes1:

Maestro, your artistry is breathtaking. Always.
Thank you @yerunclebudsy! :toke:

I'm currently making gen4 plus a cross back to the ultimate white f1 .
Should be a good one brother šŸ‘Š
The White just keeps getting better and better.
Would like to run some in the future.
@420autoflower
Insane plants once again. And thanks for your feedback on my plants. The powderymildew - the other 2 are save and without symptomes showing up past 3 weeks. The infected lady went to compost bin (rip) straight. So it's all good and tent well ventilated to prevent or minimize risks.
Added 3rd ventilator - under canopy now it is saver, too. Just wish for double the tentspace...
Need to take some new images today. But those will by far not as be impressive as the pics of your monster plants. Mad skillz , bro! So jealous!
Thank you @Nightqueen!
Good you got your PM issue under control. That stuff is nasty and spreads quick if you don’t treat it or your environment is out of whack. Do you run a dehumidifier during late flower?

Hello everyone, I’m new to the community — it’s a fantastic space! 🌱

I have a few technical questions regarding cultivation practices and system management:
  1. Irrigation Frequency
    • How frequently do you irrigate throughout the growth cycle?
    • At what stage of development is irrigation turned on?
    • Does irrigation frequency vary between vegetative and flowering stages?
  2. pH Management
    • Do you maintain the reservoir pH consistently at 5.8, or do you allow it to drift upward (e.g., toward 6.1) during flower?
  3. Reservoir Maintenance
    • How often are the reservoirs completely changed out? (My assumption is weekly, but I’d like to confirm.)
    • Are the reservoirs temperature-controlled or aerated with bubblers?
  4. Rockwool Configuration
    • What is the functional importance or advantage of double-stacking the larger rockwool blocks?
Welcome @KrackenPh! :toke:
I fertigate once a day when first sprout then a couple times by day 7, I hook them up to automated fertigation around day 15 and start feeding 3 times a day. When they hit preflower I bump it up to 5-6 times a day depending on plant size.
I keep my PH hovering around 6.0 so if it fluctuates a little up or down I’m still within range. PH adjustments are made (if needed) every evening when I top off reservoirs.
I change my reservoir water only a few times during a grow cycle and they are done during late flower when I have a difficult time controlling my EC from salt build up.
No aeration or temp control in my reservoirs.
Stacking blocks gives you a bit more veg time and more root mass.

Hi Dude,

Can i ask if your drain tray is angled so it drains quicker or just lays flat? im guessing flat?

Could i aslo ask how ofter you water, and for how long each sessions is? & how often do you change out the res?

Thank you
What type of tubs/totes are you planning to use to make your system?
This is an easy to make unit I made a few months ago that doesn’t need an angle like my other systems do.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. Are you running a sterile rez — using something like peroxide — or a live one with mycorrhizal fungi and similar additives?
I do run Mycos in my reservoirs with GH FloraNova Grow but stop after stretch is over.

Update at 7 days of Pre flower. (36 days total)

Going to let it go until Sunday that strip it and flatten it out

Looking good @Saint jimmy! šŸ‘
Keep the main tops pointing horizontal for another week and do your best to expose the nodes. ā€œIf you can’t tuck it pluck itā€!

Should be some nodes hiding under there. šŸ˜‰

I see 4" on top of 6", and at times multiple 6's

I see that 8's are made, but no mention of anyone using them.

I wonder if as with autos the proportions of the media influence when it flowers; Does a stack of 3 4's act the same as a single 6? It's almost the same volume, but roots go deeper.

I know that part of the growth is due to frequent drybacks, which will be less on larger media.
I’ve grown big autos with stacked 4x4’s, 9x6ā€ Hugo blocks, 2 gallon bags filled with Grodan Grow Cubes and also 2 gallon bags filled with coco/perlite, and I honestly can’t say one is better than the other.
The Big Mammas (8x8ā€ blocks) are overkill IMHO and they also cost too much.

I spent 20 mins looking through "The book of superlatives" to find sometthing reletive to your skill, dedication and ability, nothing seemed fitting!!!! :worship:
Thank you my friend! šŸ™
Your compliments and respect are always appreciated. 😊

Bro @420autoflower ... what can I say, like @Corum59 said even superlatives fall short.. your posts are always so inspiring and breathtaking to watch, I think it's safe to say we all enjoy the show you give us each time and with it you are making a big impact in the community! :bighug:

I salute you for that :salute: and big thanks for being such a nice person educating & helping others to achieve their goals/dreams as well, proper gent you are! :worship:

Please keep the canna-Art/Magic :wizzy:coming, like always I'm sitting front row to enjoy your show :pop::pop::pop:
Thank you Antonio! :d5:
Happy to know you’re enjoying the content. Just doing my best to make your cultivars shine and hopefully helping folks grow big autos at the same time. Wish I was able to post more updates with this last grow but my summer was a little busy and I neglected my social media responsibilities at times. I’ll be sure to make it up to you on the photoperiod run that’s coming up next.
More canna-art coming soon bro!
