Indoor Growing Scrog

Hi Guys its my second grow ever. Im trying the 420scrog. Its 4 the Ultimate Auto plants by dutch Passion. Growing in 100% Coco in XL autopots. The plants are 55 days old and 21 days in flower. Had some Trouble with the water in my Tank from flower day 15-18 but now the plants looking much better already. I would Like to ask you If i should do another hard defoliation at this Point. Its a 5x5 tent.

Sorry for my bad english.

Hello folks. Ive got roots coming through the bottom of the 4x4 at the end of week 1. Do I stack it on the 6x6 at this point?

There are clearly those days when everything turns out other than expected.

I've had a hard battle keeping r/h below 60% (it's 45-50 during day, but up to 70% during night on rainy days )as it poured rain for days which influence the indoor climate sadly a little too much. I've massive ventilation going and until now wasn't big of a problem . All looked fine - but yesterday that changed... had a rotting bud. Not big deal though, removed everything suspicious, but it raised the question, if it was a leftover stem of a taken out fanleave or the wound of it... It's close to the end for one lady, the other will have another week but with just 1 in the room , humidity should go down a bit.

Dehumidifier is definetly on the list, it's the one thing that's missing in my setup.

I messed up a lot little things this run, but overall I had big fun so far experimenting with your method - or parts of it. Still a ton to learn and improve but will definetly keep on chasing for even better results than this run. Biggest takeaway for sure: I need more space or less plant.

Can't thank you @420autoflower for sharing the method with the community! And amazing new plants you showed above once again. Jawdropping as usual.
Thank you brother! 🙏
The dead leaf stems shouldn’t rot your bud as long as your R/H is dialed in.

I know 420 has tried this, might be much earlier in this thread, or some other thread. I keep thinking ... why not trellis, with a net or wire grid hung vertically, and two lights, one on each side? Weave the stems through the net as they grow, no high stress training required, and lots of light to the buds from top to bottom -- and no or little larf? Am I crazy?
Espalier growing was fun but I would much rather grow my plants the traditional way. I might try it again someday but to do it properly you need more space, a large metal grid and more lighting.
Silo growing is another interesting way to grow.

Well, we're under-canopy lighting to save us from larf ... I don't know. ☺️ I'm tempted to try it, with lights on both sides, instead of just one side. I might do just that with a grow I'm about to start.
Go for it @Mongoose! 👍👍👍
Will be fun to watch it develop. 😉

Looking good @Soldierx91 !
Running 4 autos in 1 tent is not easy.
Plants are getting plenty of light right now so hold off on the schwazz.
Thanks for sharing! 👊

Gas, here is my ad-hoc stack, 2 4x4s, because my 6" block delivery was late. This is at 14 days, just bent her top over this morning. You can see the roots have already dug into the 6" block.

As you recommended earlier, I've meanwhile already followed your advice and ordered a dehumidifier during prime days on Amazon. So I hope this will fix the issue. The next run will be even more killer now.

how long have you been auto feeding? Ive already noticed that the 4x4 seems to dry out lots quicker being stacked.

I decided to just go for it. End of day 7 blue cheese. This is my first hydro grow and I haven't even done regular scrog so I appreciate everyone's help.

Edit: @420autoflower why do we wait until day 14 for the automated feeding?

I start auto-feeding around day 7 too. It's a convenience thing.
I've tried: 10 minutes every 4 hours, 8 minutes every 3 hours, and lately
5 minutes every 2 hours. Seems to make no difference that I can see.

Feed the frequency that best suits your routine, just ensure those blocks do not completely dry out. During flower with low humidity and high temps it's easy to fall foul. I've settled on 5 minutes every 4 hours but again it depends on your pump size and how hungry your girls are.
